Components:

Setup

Battery Installation:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert three (3) AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off:

  • To power on the scale, press the control knob. The display will illuminate and show '0.0'.
  • To power off the scale, press and hold the control knob for a few seconds until the display turns off. The scale will also auto shut-off after 3 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.

Changing Units:

  • Rotate the control knob to cycle through available measurement units: pounds (lb), ounces (oz), grams (g), fluid ounces (fl oz), and milliliters (ml).
  • The selected unit will be indicated on the digital display.

Tare Function:

The Tare function allows you to zero out the weight of a container or to weigh multiple ingredients consecutively in the same bowl.

  1. Place an empty container on the weighing surface. The display will show its weight.
  2. Press the control knob once. The display will reset to '0.0', effectively subtracting the container's weight.
  3. Add your first ingredient. The display will show the weight of only the ingredient.
  4. To add another ingredient, press the control knob again to zero the scale, then add the next ingredient. Repeat as needed.

Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning: The glass surface is naturally stain and odor-free. For best results, wipe the scale with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly after each use. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water.
  • Storage: Store the scale in a dry place at room temperature. Avoid placing heavy objects on the scale when not in use.
