Setup
Battery Installation:
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert three (3) AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off:
- To power on the scale, press the control knob. The display will illuminate and show '0.0'.
- To power off the scale, press and hold the control knob for a few seconds until the display turns off. The scale will also auto shut-off after 3 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.
Changing Units:
- Rotate the control knob to cycle through available measurement units: pounds (lb), ounces (oz), grams (g), fluid ounces (fl oz), and milliliters (ml).
- The selected unit will be indicated on the digital display.
Tare Function:
The Tare function allows you to zero out the weight of a container or to weigh multiple ingredients consecutively in the same bowl.
- Place an empty container on the weighing surface. The display will show its weight.
- Press the control knob once. The display will reset to '0.0', effectively subtracting the container's weight.
- Add your first ingredient. The display will show the weight of only the ingredient.
- To add another ingredient, press the control knob again to zero the scale, then add the next ingredient. Repeat as needed.

Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning: The glass surface is naturally stain and odor-free. For best results, wipe the scale with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly after each use. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water.
- Storage: Store the scale in a dry place at room temperature. Avoid placing heavy objects on the scale when not in use.
