2. Installation Steps
- Prepare the Door: If replacing an existing knob, remove it. Ensure the door hole and latch hole are clean and clear.
- Install the Latch: Insert the latch mechanism into the door edge. Ensure the latch bolt faces the correct direction for your door swing. Secure with screws. Adjust the backset if necessary (60mm or 70mm).
- Install Exterior Knob: Insert the exterior knob (with fingerprint sensor) into the door hole. Ensure the "UP" sign on the top of the knob is correctly oriented.
- Install Interior Knob: Align the interior knob with the exterior knob and the latch. Ensure the "UP" sign on the interior knob is also correctly oriented. The spindle bar should be in the vertical position. You may need to apply slight force to fully seat the rear lock.
- Secure the Knobs: Use the provided mounting screws to secure both knobs together through the latch mechanism. Do not overtighten.
- Install Strike Plate: Install the strike plate on the door frame, aligning it with the latch bolt.
- Test Operation: Before closing the door, test the lock's mechanical function with a key.
Operating Instructions
The KLLOQUE Smart Fingerprint Door Lock offers multiple ways to unlock and various operational modes for enhanced convenience and privacy.
Unlocking Methods
- Fingerprint Unlock: Place your registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. The lock will unlock if the fingerprint is recognized. The lock can store up to 20 fingerprints.
- App Unlock: Use the dedicated mobile application to unlock the door via Bluetooth. (See "App Control" section for details).

Operational Modes
The KLLOQUE smart door knob features three distinct modes, easily switchable by rotating the thumb-turn on the interior knob. A visual indicator on the interior knob will show the current mode.

- Passage Mode (Unlocked Mode): In this mode, the door remains unlocked, allowing free entry and exit without requiring a fingerprint or app unlock. Ideal for high-traffic areas or when you want the door to remain open.
- Normal Mode (5s Auto Lock): This is the standard security mode. After unlocking with a fingerprint or app, the lock will automatically re-lock after 5 seconds. This ensures your door is always secured.
- Privacy Mode (Authority Unlock): In Privacy Mode, only administrator fingerprints or app control can unlock the door from the outside. This provides an extra layer of security, preventing unauthorized access even by registered users.
- Mute Mode: This mode disables all sound notifications from the lock, providing quiet operation. Ideal for bedrooms or nurseries where noise might be disruptive.
