The Q61 features a compact 60% layout, QMK/VIA programmability, 3-mode connectivity (USB-C wired, Bluetooth 3.0/5.0, and 2.4GHz wireless), hot-swappable switches, and vibrant RGB backlighting with themed PBT keycaps.

Setup
1. Connectivity Modes
The Womier Q61 keyboard supports three connection modes: USB-C wired, Bluetooth (BT 3.0/5.0), and 2.4GHz wireless. A switch on the back of the keyboard allows you to select the desired mode.

2. Bluetooth Pairing
- Switch the keyboard to Bluetooth mode using the switch on the back.
- On your device (computer, tablet, phone), navigate to Bluetooth settings.
- Press Fn + Q, Fn + W, or Fn + E to select a Bluetooth channel. The key will flash, indicating pairing mode.
- Select "WOMIER Q61" from the list of available devices on your device.
- Once connected, the key will stop flashing and remain lit.

3. 2.4GHz Wireless Connection
- Locate the 2.4GHz USB receiver in the storage slot on the back of the keyboard.
- Plug the receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- Switch the keyboard to 2.4GHz wireless mode using the switch on the back.
- The keyboard should automatically connect. If not, press Fn + R to initiate pairing.
4. USB-C Wired Connection
- Connect the provided USB-C cable to the keyboard's USB-C port.
- Connect the other end of the cable to an available USB port on your computer.
- Switch the keyboard to wired mode using the switch on the back.
- The keyboard will be recognized automatically by your operating system.
Operating Instructions
1. QMK/VIA Programmability
The Womier Q61 supports QMK/VIA, an open-source software that allows for extensive customization of key mappings, macros, and lighting effects. To use QMK/VIA:
- Download the VIA software from the official QMK website or Womier support page.
- Connect the keyboard in wired mode to your computer.
- Open the VIA software. The keyboard should be automatically detected.
- You can now remap keys, create macros, and adjust lighting settings. Note that key remapping must be done in wired mode, but the changes will apply to both wired and wireless modes.

2. RGB Backlighting Control
The keyboard features customizable RGB backlighting. Use the following key combinations to adjust lighting effects:
- Fn + ↑: Increase backlight brightness
- Fn + ↓: Decrease backlight brightness
- Fn + ←: Decrease backlight speed
- Fn + →: Increase backlight speed
- Fn + [{: Switch backlight colors
- Fn + ]}: Switch backlight saturation
- Fn + \|: Switch backlight effects
- Fn + Z: Adjust LOGO light effects
- Fn + X: Adjust LOGO light colors

3. Hot-Swappable Switches
The Womier Q61 features hot-swappable sockets, allowing you to change mechanical switches without soldering. This supports both 3-pin and 5-pin switches.
- Using the provided keycap puller, carefully remove the keycap from the switch you wish to replace.
- Using the provided switch puller, gently grip the top and bottom clips of the switch and pull it straight up.
- Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB. Ensure the pins are straight to avoid bending.
- Press the new switch firmly into place until it clicks.
- Replace the keycap.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Keyboard
- Disconnect the keyboard from all power sources before cleaning.
- Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keycaps.
- For stubborn dirt, remove keycaps using the provided keycap puller and clean the exposed switches and plate with a damp cloth (ensure it's not dripping wet).
- Wipe keycaps with a mild cleaning solution on a cloth, then dry thoroughly before reattaching.
2. Battery Care
- The keyboard is equipped with a 3000mAh Lithium Polymer battery.
- Avoid exposing the keyboard to extreme temperatures.
- Charge the keyboard using the provided USB-C cable.
- For optimal battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
Troubleshooting
- Keyboard not responding: Ensure the keyboard is properly connected (wired, Bluetooth, or 2.4GHz) and the mode switch is in the correct position. Check battery level if in wireless mode.
- Bluetooth connection issues: Ensure your device's Bluetooth is on and the keyboard is in pairing mode. Try re-pairing the device.
- 2.4GHz connection issues: Ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged in and the keyboard is in 2.4GHz mode. Try a different USB port.
- Keys not registering: If a specific key is not working, try removing and re-inserting the switch. If the issue persists, replace the switch with one of the spares.
- RGB lighting not working: Check the lighting control key combinations (Fn + arrow keys, etc.) to ensure it's not turned off or set to minimum brightness.
