5. Setup

5.1 Mounting

The fixture can be mounted in various positions: hanging from a truss, wall-mounted, or placed on the floor. Always ensure the mounting surface or structure can support the weight of the fixture. Use appropriate clamps and a secondary safety cable for all overhead installations to prevent accidental falls.

5.2 Barn Door Installation

If the barn doors are not pre-installed, attach them to the front of the fixture using the provided screws. Ensure they are securely fastened but allow for smooth adjustment of the flaps.

5.3 Connections

Connect the power cable to a suitable power outlet. For DMX control, connect a DMX cable from your DMX controller to the DMX IN port on the fixture. For multiple fixtures, daisy-chain them by connecting the DMX OUT of the first fixture to the DMX IN of the next, and so on.

6. Operating

The SHEHDS LED COB 200W Par Light offers several operating modes:

• DMX512 Control: Connect to a DMX controller to access 3 or 7 DMX channels for precise control over dimming, color temperature, zoom, and strobe effects.
• Master/Slave Mode: Link multiple fixtures together. Set one as the master, and the others as slaves. The slaves will mimic the master's settings.
• Sound Activated Mode: The light will react to ambient sound, creating dynamic lighting effects.
• Color Jumping: Cycles through various color temperatures automatically.
• Stand-alone Strobe: Produces a flashing light effect at a set speed.
• Auto Running: Pre-programmed light shows run automatically.

6.1 Adjusting Color Temperature and Beam Angle

The fixture can produce both warm white (3000k-3200k) and cool white (5700k-6000k) light. The linear zoom function allows adjustment of the beam angle from 10 to 60 degrees, providing flexibility for various lighting needs, from tight spotlights to wide washes.
