Setup Guide
1. Battery Installation
- Main Unit: Open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit. Insert 3 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
- Outdoor Sensor: Open the battery compartment on the back of the outdoor sensor. Insert 2 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely to maintain weather resistance.
2. Automatic Pairing
Once batteries are installed in both units, the main unit will automatically search for and pair with the outdoor sensor. This process may take a few minutes. Ensure both units are within range during initial setup.
3. Sensor Placement
For accurate outdoor readings and to prolong the sensor's lifespan, consider the following:
- Place the outdoor sensor in a shaded area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, to prevent inaccurate temperature readings.
- Protect the sensor from direct rain and heavy moisture. While designed for outdoor use, excessive exposure can affect performance.
- Ensure the sensor is within the wireless transmission range of 100 meters (328 feet) from the main unit, free from major obstructions like thick walls or large metal objects.
- The weather station supports up to 3 outdoor sensors. If using multiple sensors, ensure each is set to a different channel (1, 2, or 3) using the switch inside the sensor's battery compartment.

Operating Instructions
Display Overview
The main unit features a large 4-inch LCD display that presents various environmental data points:
- Weather Forecast: Icons indicating predicted weather for the next 12-24 hours (Sunny, Cloudy, Overcast, Light Rain, Heavy Rain, Light Snow, Heavy Snow).
- Outdoor Index: Displays Mold growth probability, Dew point index, or Heat index.
- Outdoor Temperature & Humidity: Current readings from the wireless outdoor sensor.
- Indoor Temperature & Humidity: Current readings from the main unit's internal sensors.
- Trends: Arrows indicating rising, falling, or stable trends for temperature and humidity.
- Frost Point Alert: A snowflake icon appears when outdoor temperature approaches freezing.
- Max/Min Records: Displays the maximum and minimum temperature/humidity recorded over the past 24 hours.
- Low Battery Warning: An icon indicates when batteries need replacement.

Functionality
- Backlight: Touch the icon above the display to activate the backlight. It will automatically turn off after 10 seconds to conserve battery life.
- Outdoor Index Modes: The "Outdoor Index" section can display Mold growth probability, Dew point index, or Heat index. Use the button on the back of the main unit to cycle through these modes.
- Max/Min Records: Press the "MAX/MIN" button on the back to view the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity readings recorded over the past 24 hours. Press again to return to current readings.
- Temperature Unit Switch: Use the "°C/°F" button on the back to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units.
- Channel Selection: If using multiple outdoor sensors, press the "CHANNEL" button on the back to switch between sensor channels (1, 2, 3) or to cycle through them automatically.

Maintenance
Battery Replacement
When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the batteries in the respective unit (main unit or outdoor sensor). Always use new batteries of the specified type (AAA for main unit, AA for outdoor sensor) and ensure correct polarity.
Cleaning
Wipe the main unit and outdoor sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or corrosive chemicals, as these can damage the plastic casing or display. Ensure the outdoor sensor's battery compartment is sealed after cleaning.
Sensor Care
Periodically check the outdoor sensor for any debris or obstructions that might affect its readings. Ensure it remains in a location protected from extreme weather conditions like heavy downpours or prolonged direct sunlight.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No display on main unit. | Batteries are dead or incorrectly inserted. | Replace batteries with new ones, ensuring correct polarity. |
| Outdoor temperature/humidity not displayed or inaccurate. |
|
|
| Weather forecast seems inaccurate. | Weather forecast is a simulation based on internal algorithms, not real-time barometric pressure changes. | The weather forecast is an estimation for the next 12-24 hours and may not always align perfectly with actual conditions, especially in rapidly changing weather patterns. It is not based on barometric pressure. |
| Backlight does not stay on. | Designed to turn off automatically. | The backlight is designed to turn off after 10 seconds to save battery life. This is normal operation. |
