Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Red Constant Light on Indicator
  • SSD not recognized or damaged.
  • Unsupported M.2 SATA drive inserted.
  • Target SSD capacity is less than Source SSD capacity during cloning.
  • Ensure SSDs are properly seated.
  • Verify SSDs are NVMe M.2 (not SATA or AHCI).
  • For cloning, ensure Target SSD capacity is ≥ Source SSD capacity.
Slow Data Transfer Speeds
  • Connected to a lower speed USB port (e.g., USB 3.0 instead of USB4).
  • Cable issue.
  • Connect to a USB4 or USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 port on your computer.
  • Try a different high-quality USB-C cable.
Enclosure Not Detected by Computer
  • Loose cable connection.
  • Power not supplied.
  • Driver issue (rare for plug-and-play).
  • Ensure all cables are securely connected.
  • Verify the power adapter is plugged in and the enclosure is powered on.
  • Try a different USB port or computer.
