Control Buttons

The thermostat uses a simple 3-wire connection scheme: NC (Normally Closed), COM (Common), and NO (Normally Open). Connect these terminals to your boiler or heating system according to the system's wiring instructions. Always ensure power is disconnected before performing any wiring.

Battery Installation

The thermostat is powered by two 1.5V batteries. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the unit, insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity, and close the compartment.

Initial Setup and Programming

Setting Time and Day

1. Press the Clock/Time Setting (⏱) button. The time display will begin to flash.
2. Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) arrow buttons to adjust the hour.
3. Press the Clock/Time Setting (⏱) button again to move to minute adjustment, then use the arrow buttons.
4. Press the Clock/Time Setting (⏱) button a third time to set the day of the week, using the arrow buttons to select the correct day.
5. Press the Clock/Time Setting (⏱) button once more, or wait a few seconds, to confirm and exit time setting mode.

Temperature Unit

The thermostat displays temperature in Celsius (℃). This unit cannot be changed to Fahrenheit (℉).

Operation

Manual Mode

In Manual Mode, the thermostat maintains a constant temperature set by the user. To activate Manual Mode:

1. Press the Mode (M) button until the manual icon (often a hand symbol) appears on the display.
2. Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) arrow buttons to set your desired temperature. The thermostat will now maintain this temperature until changed or switched to another mode.

Programmable Mode (5+2 Week Schedule)

The thermostat allows for a 5+2 week programming schedule, meaning you can set different heating schedules for weekdays (Monday-Friday) and weekends (Saturday-Sunday). This mode helps optimize energy consumption.

1. Press the Mode (M) button until the automatic icon (often a gear or clock symbol) appears on the display.
2. To enter programming settings, press and hold the Mode (M) button for a few seconds. The display will show the first programming period (e.g., "Wake" for weekdays).
3. Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) arrow buttons to adjust the start time and desired temperature for each period.
4. Press the Mode (M) button to cycle through the programming periods:
   • Weekdays (Monday-Friday): Wake, Morning Leave, Return, Afternoon Leave, Afternoon Return, Sleep.
   • Weekends (Saturday-Sunday): Wake, Sleep.
5. After setting all desired periods, press the Mode (M) button or wait for a few seconds to save and exit programming mode.

The thermostat will automatically activate your boiler when the room temperature falls below the set point for the current program period and deactivate it when the desired temperature is reached.

Child Lock Function

To prevent accidental changes to settings, the thermostat includes a child lock function. Refer to the specific instructions on how to activate and deactivate the child lock, typically involving a combination of button presses (e.g., holding two buttons simultaneously for a few seconds).

Antifreeze Function

The antifreeze function protects your heating system from freezing temperatures. When activated, the thermostat will automatically turn on the heating if the room temperature drops below a preset low temperature (e.g., 5℃), even if the thermostat is in an "off" or low-temperature setting. This helps prevent pipe damage during cold weather.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the thermostat's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the unit.
• Battery Replacement: Replace the two 1.5V batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Ensure proper disposal of old batteries according to local regulations.
• Location: Ensure the thermostat remains in a location free from direct sunlight, drafts, or heat sources to maintain accurate temperature readings.
