1. Important Safety Instructions
Please read all instructions carefully before using this heater. Failure to follow these instructions may result in fire, electric shock, injury to persons, or property damage.
- Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles when moving this heater.

- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- This heater has tip-over protection and overheat protection features. If the heater tips over or overheats, it will automatically shut off.
- Do not use in bathrooms, laundry areas, or similar indoor locations where water is present.

3. Setup
3.1 Unboxing and Base Assembly
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. The heater's base comes in two halves that need to be assembled. Align the holes on both halves of the base and snap them together. Once assembled, feed the power cord through the designated opening in the base. Then, attach the assembled base to the bottom of the heater unit, ensuring it is securely fastened.

3.2 Placement
Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 3 feet (0.9 m) of clear space around the heater from any combustible materials. Do not place the heater on soft surfaces like rugs or carpets that could block the air intake or exhaust vents. Ensure the power cord is not pinched or run under carpets.
4. Operating Instructions
The JRD heater can be operated using either the touch control panel on the top of the unit or the included remote control.
4.1 Power On/Off
- Touch Panel: Press the power button (U) on the top display.
- Remote Control: Press the power button on the remote.
- When turning off, the heater will initiate a 30-second countdown to cool down before completely shutting off.
4.2 Mode Selection
Press the 'M' button on the touch panel or remote control to cycle through the available heating modes:
- Low Heat: Provides gentle warmth.
- High Heat: Delivers maximum warmth (1500 Watts).
- ECO Mode: Energy-saving mode that adjusts heat output based on the set temperature.
- Fan Only: Circulates air without heat.
4.3 Temperature Adjustment
The temperature can be set between 41°F and 95°F (5°C and 35°C).
- Touch Panel: Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the display.

4.4 Oscillation Function
Activate the 80-degree wide-range oscillation to distribute heat evenly across a larger area.
- Touch Panel: Press the oscillation button (circular arrow icon).
- Remote Control: Press the oscillation button on the remote.
4.5 Timer Function
Set a timer for the heater to automatically turn off after a specified duration (up to 12 hours).
- Touch Panel: Press the timer button (clock icon) and use '+' and '-' to adjust hours.
- Remote Control: Press the timer button on the remote and use '+' and '-' to adjust hours.
4.6 Night Light
The heater features a subtle night light at its base.
- Remote Control: Press the light bulb icon on the remote to toggle the night light on/off.
4.7 Child Lock
To prevent accidental changes to settings, activate the child lock.
- Remote Control: Press the lock icon on the remote. Once activated, the touch panel controls will be disabled. Press again to unlock.

6. Troubleshooting
- Heater does not turn on: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working 120V outlet. Check if the unit's power button is pressed. Verify that the child lock is not activated.
- Heater turns off unexpectedly: This may be due to the tip-over protection or overheat protection. Ensure the heater is on a stable surface and that air intake/exhaust vents are not blocked. Allow the unit to cool down before restarting.
- Error Code "FF": This code typically indicates an internal malfunction or overheating. Unplug the unit immediately and contact customer support if the issue persists after cooling down.
- Inconsistent Temperature Reading: The internal thermostat may sometimes show a temperature different from the room's actual temperature. Adjust the set temperature as needed to achieve desired comfort.
- Remote Control not working: Check the batteries in the remote control. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the heater.
