1. Introduction

The BOBLOV D7 2K Body Camera is a robust and versatile recording device designed for security, law enforcement, and personal use. 4.1 Battery Installation

The BOBLOV D7 comes with two 1950mAh rechargeable batteries. One battery is typically pre-installed. To install or replace a battery:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the camera.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert the battery, ensuring the contacts align correctly.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2 Memory Card Installation

The D7 supports up to a 128GB Class 10 Micro SD card. Proper insertion is crucial for functionality.

  1. Locate the card slot under the rubber cover on the side of the camera.
  2. Ensure the wording on the Micro SD card faces the display screen of the camera.
  3. Insert the card into the slot. You may need to use a fingernail or a small pin to gently press it in until you feel a spring inside and hear a click sound, indicating it is successfully locked into place.
  4. Close the rubber cover to protect the slot from dust and moisture.
  5. Power on the camera to verify the memory card capacity is recognized on the display.

4.3 Charging the Camera

To charge your BOBLOV D7 Body Camera:

  3. The charging indicator lights on the dock or camera will illuminate to show charging status.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

To power on the camera, press and hold the Power button until the BOBLOV logo appears on the screen. To power off, press and hold the Power button again until the device shuts down.

5.2 Video and Photo Capture

The D7 captures video at 1440P resolution and photos at 40MP. Refer to the on-screen interface for specific recording and photo modes.

5.3 Night Vision

The camera features auto infrared night vision, enabling clear recording in low-light or complete darkness conditions. The infrared LEDs automatically activate when ambient light is insufficient.

5.4 GPS Tracking

5.5 File Management

6.2 Cleaning

To clean the camera, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, ensuring no moisture enters ports or openings. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

Common Issues and Solutions

  • Camera not turning on: Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly installed. Try using the second battery if available.
  • Short battery life: Continuous recording, especially with IR night vision and GPS enabled, consumes more power. Ensure both batteries are fully charged before extended use. Consider reducing recording resolution or disabling non-essential features if longer battery life is needed.
  • Memory card not recognized: Ensure the Micro SD card is correctly inserted and fully clicked into place. Verify the card is a Class 10 Micro SD card and not larger than 128GB. Try reformatting the card (this will erase all data).
  • Poor video/photo quality: Ensure the lens is clean and free from smudges. Check the recording resolution settings in the camera menu.
  • No night vision: Ensure the auto infrared feature is enabled in the settings, or manually activate it if available.
