2. Setup and Installation

The NUTOMO M3 lock is designed for straightforward installation on most standard doors. All you need is a screwdriver.

2.1 Door Compatibility

This lock is compatible with doors 1-1/4" to 1-3/4" in thickness and comes with two adjustable metal door latches (2-3/8" or 2-3/4"). It supports both right and left handing doors.

  • APP Control: Remotely control and manage your lock via the Next Lock APP.
  • IC Cards: Use up to 1000 IC cards for convenient tap-to-unlock access.
  • Mechanical Keys: Three physical keys are included for traditional backup access.
  • Alexa Voice Control: Unlock using voice commands through Alexa (requires a separate gateway).
  • Ekey: Digital keys can be shared for temporary or permanent access.

3.2 Auto-Lock Feature

For enhanced security, the lock can be set to automatically lock after a specified period (5-900 seconds) once the door is closed.

4. Maintenance

The NUTOMO M3 lock is powered by 4 AA batteries (not included) that can last up to 6 months. The Next Lock APP will notify you when the battery level is low, and you can monitor the battery status within the app at any time.

  • Replace batteries promptly when low battery alerts are received.
  • Keep the lock clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Ensure the door alignment is correct for smooth operation of the deadbolt.
