Required Tools (Not Included):
- Adjustable Wrench
- Pipe Thread Sealant Tape
- Screwdriver
- Drill
- Level

Installation Steps:
- Prepare Wall: Ensure the wall cavity is clear and ready for the rough-in valve installation. Refer to the technical drawing for recommended dimensions and pipe connections.
- Install Rough-in Valve: Connect the hot and cold water lines to the designated inlets on the rough-in valve. Secure the valve to a stringer or base surface within the wall. Ensure the valve is level and the rough-in depth (70mm-90mm / 2.75-3.54 inches from finish wall) is correct.
- Install Shower Arm and Rain Head: Thread the shower arm into the wall outlet. Apply pipe thread sealant tape to all threaded connections. Attach the 10-inch rain shower head to the shower arm.
- Install Handheld Shower Holder: Mount the handheld shower holder to the wall at the desired height (recommended 1000-1500mm / 39.37-59.05 inches from floor).
- Connect Shower Hose and Handheld: Connect one end of the shower hose to the rough-in valve outlet and the other end to the handheld shower spray. Place the handheld shower into its holder.
- Install Trim Plate and Handle: Once all plumbing connections are secure and tested for leaks, install the decorative trim plate and control handle onto the rough-in valve.
- Test System: Turn on the main water supply and check all connections for leaks. Test the functionality of the control handle and diverter.

Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will help preserve the finish and functionality of your WELLFOR shower system.
Cleaning the Finish:
- Clean the chrome finish with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.
Preventing Mineral Buildup:
- For areas with hard water, regularly wipe down the shower head nozzles and handheld spray nozzles to prevent mineral buildup.
- Flexible silicone nozzles can often be cleaned by gently rubbing them with your finger to dislodge mineral deposits.
- For stubborn deposits, a solution of white vinegar and water can be used, but ensure it does not remain on the chrome finish for extended periods. Rinse thoroughly.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your WELLFOR shower system, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Low Water Pressure | Clogged shower head/handheld nozzles; partially closed shut-off valve; low household water pressure. | Clean nozzles of mineral buildup. Ensure shut-off valves are fully open. Consult a plumber if household pressure is consistently low. |
| Leaks from Connections | Loose connections; insufficient pipe thread sealant tape; damaged O-rings/gaskets. | Tighten connections. Reapply pipe thread sealant tape. Inspect and replace O-rings/gaskets if damaged. |
| Diverter Not Switching Properly | Mineral buildup in diverter mechanism; worn diverter cartridge. | Flush the system to clear debris. If problem persists, the diverter cartridge may need replacement by a qualified professional. |
| Water Temperature Fluctuations | Issues with water heater; pressure balance valve malfunction. | Check water heater settings. If other fixtures are stable, the pressure balance valve in the rough-in may require inspection by a plumber. |
If these solutions do not resolve the issue, please contact WELLFOR customer support or a qualified plumber.
