Important Safety Instructions
When using your iron, basic safety precautions should always be followed:
- Read all instructions before using the iron.
- Use the iron only for its intended use.
- To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the iron in water or other liquids.
- Always turn the iron OFF before plugging or unplugging from the electrical outlet. Never yank cord to disconnect from outlet; instead, grasp plug and pull to disconnect.
- Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces. Let iron cool completely before putting away. Loop cord loosely around iron when storing.
- Always disconnect iron from electrical outlet when filling with water or emptying, and when not in use.
- Do not operate iron with a damaged cord or if the iron has been dropped or damaged. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble the iron; take it to a qualified service person for examination and repair. Incorrect reassembly can cause a risk of electric shock when the iron is used.
- Close supervision is necessary for any appliance being used by or near children. Do not leave iron unattended while connected or on an ironing board.
- Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water, or steam. Use caution when you turn a steam iron upside down – there may be hot water in the reservoir.
- The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface.
- When placing the iron on its heel, ensure that the surface on which it is placed is stable.

3. First Use
During the first use, a slight odor or light smoke may be emitted. This is normal and will disappear after a short period. It is recommended to iron an old cloth for a few minutes to remove any manufacturing residues.
Operating Instructions
1. Temperature Settings
- Plug the iron into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Turn the temperature control dial to the desired setting according to the fabric type. Refer to the fabric care labels on your garments.
- The indicator light will illuminate, indicating the iron is heating. It will turn off when the selected temperature is reached.
Note: Always check the fabric care label. If unsure, test on an inconspicuous area of the garment.
2. Steam Ironing
Steam ironing is suitable for most fabrics, especially cotton and linen.
- Ensure the water tank is filled.
- Set the temperature control dial to a steam-compatible setting (usually indicated by steam symbols on the dial).
- Once the indicator light turns off, adjust the variable steam control to the desired steam level.
- Begin ironing. The Microsteam HD soleplate provides optimal steam distribution through over 400 active holes for efficient wrinkle removal.

3. Dry Ironing
For delicate fabrics or when steam is not required:
- Set the variable steam control to the "Dry Ironing" position (no steam).
- Select the appropriate temperature for your fabric.
- Wait for the indicator light to turn off before ironing.
4. Steam Shot Function
The powerful 220 g/min steam shot helps to remove stubborn creases.
- Ensure the iron is at a high temperature setting (e.g., linen or cotton).
- Press the steam shot button repeatedly for bursts of powerful steam.
- Allow a few seconds between each press for optimal steam generation.
5. Vertical Steaming
This feature is ideal for removing wrinkles from hanging garments, curtains, or delicate items.
- Hang the garment on a hanger.
- Set the iron to a high temperature setting.
- Hold the iron vertically a few centimeters away from the fabric.
- Press the steam shot button to release bursts of steam.
6. Spray Function
The spray function helps to moisten fabrics for easier ironing.
- Press the spray button to release a fine mist of water onto the fabric.
7. Precision Tip
The specially designed precision tip allows you to easily reach difficult areas such as narrow hems, seams, and collars for impeccable ironing results.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Soleplate
To maintain the smooth glide and efficiency of your soleplate:
- Ensure the iron is unplugged and completely cool.
- Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth. For stubborn marks, use a non-abrasive cleaning stick specifically designed for iron soleplates.
- Do not use abrasive pads, scouring powders, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the soleplate's laser finish.
2. Anti-Calc Collector System
The integrated anti-calc collector prevents limescale buildup, ensuring consistent steam performance over time. Regular cleaning of the collector is recommended, especially in areas with hard water.
- Ensure the iron is unplugged and completely cool.
- Locate the anti-calc collector release (often a small lever or button near the back of the iron).
- Remove the anti-calc collector.
- Rinse the collector under running water to remove any accumulated limescale.
- Reinsert the clean collector firmly until it clicks into place.

3. Storage
After each use:
- Unplug the iron and allow it to cool completely.
- Empty any remaining water from the tank.
- Store the iron upright on its heel in a safe, dry place.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Iron does not heat up. | Not plugged in; power outlet fault; temperature dial set to OFF. | Check power connection; try another outlet; turn temperature dial to a fabric setting. |
| No steam or insufficient steam. | Water tank empty; temperature too low for steam; variable steam control set to dry; soleplate clogged. | Fill water tank; set temperature to steam-compatible range; adjust steam control; clean soleplate and anti-calc collector. |
| Water leaks from the soleplate. | Temperature too low for steam; iron held horizontally with steam on for too long; water tank overfilled. | Increase temperature; ensure iron is hot enough before using steam; do not overfill water tank; empty water tank when not in use. |
| White flakes or particles coming from the soleplate. | Limescale buildup. | Clean the anti-calc collector as described in the Maintenance section. |
