2. Important Safety Instructions

4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking

4.3 Placement

4.4 First Use

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Operation
- Place the crisper plates into the cooking baskets.
- Place ingredients into the baskets. Do not overfill.
- Slide the baskets into the main unit.
- Plug the appliance into a grounded outlet. The Power button will illuminate.
- Press the Power button to turn on the display.
- Select Basket 1 or Basket 2.
- Adjust the temperature using the '+' and '-' buttons (80-200°C).
- Adjust the cooking time using the '+' and '-' buttons (1-60 minutes).
- Press the Start/Pause button to begin cooking.
- During cooking, you can pull out a basket to shake or check food. The appliance will pause automatically. Reinsert the basket to resume.
- A beep will sound when the cooking cycle is complete. The appliance will automatically shut off.
5.2 Pre-set Programs
The H.Koenig FRY900 includes 8 pre-set programs for common food items. To use a pre-set program:
- Follow steps 1-5 from Basic Operation.
- Select Basket 1 or Basket 2.
- Press the Program icon repeatedly until the desired program is selected. The default temperature and time for that program will display.
- You can adjust the temperature and time manually if needed.
- Press Start/Pause to begin.
5.3 Dual Zone Cooking (Smart Finish & Match Cook)
The dual basket design allows for cooking two different foods simultaneously or the same food in larger quantities.
- Independent Cooking: Set different temperatures and times for Basket 1 and Basket 2.
- Match Cook: If you want both baskets to cook with the exact same settings, set Basket 1, then press the 'Match Cook' button. The settings will be copied to Basket 2.
- Smart Finish: If you are cooking two different foods with different cooking times, use 'Smart Finish'. Set the desired temperature and time for each basket. Press 'Smart Finish', and the air fryer will automatically adjust the start times so both baskets finish cooking at the same moment.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air fryer.
6.1 Cleaning After Each Use
- Unplug the air fryer from the wall outlet and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.
- Remove the cooking baskets and crisper plates.
- The baskets and crisper plates are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, wash them with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge.
- For stubborn food residue, soak the baskets in hot water with dish soap for about 10 minutes.
