Connection Options

The FOPO S7 offers flexible connection methods. No drivers are required for installation.

Option 1: Dual Full-Featured USB-C Connection

This is the recommended method if your laptop has two full-featured USB-C ports (supporting video and power delivery).

1. Connect one USB-C to USB-C cable from the left screen of the extender to a full-featured USB-C port on your laptop.
2. Connect the second USB-C to USB-C cable from the right screen of the extender to another full-featured USB-C port on your laptop.

Option 2: Full-Featured USB-C + HDMI + Power Supply

Use this option if your laptop has one full-featured USB-C port and an HDMI port. An additional power supply may be required for the HDMI screen.

1. Connect one USB-C to USB-C cable from one screen of the extender to a full-featured USB-C port on your laptop. This will provide both video and power to that screen.
2. Connect the HDMI to Mini HDMI cable from the other screen of the extender to your laptop's HDMI port.
3. For the screen connected via HDMI, you must provide external power. Use the USB-C cable with USB-A adapter to connect the screen to a USB-A port on your laptop or a 5V/2A power adapter.

Initial Setup

Once connected, the screens should automatically detect and display. You may need to adjust display settings on your laptop.

Adjusting Display Settings (Windows)

1. Right-click on your desktop and select "Display settings".
2. Under "Multiple displays", you can arrange the displays to match their physical setup.
3. Select each display and choose "Extend these displays" for a multi-monitor setup, or "Duplicate these displays" for mirroring.
4. Adjust resolution (recommended 1920x1200) and scale for each monitor as needed.

Adjusting Display Settings (MacOS)

1. Go to Apple menu > System Settings > Displays.
2. Click "Arrange" to drag and drop the display icons to match your physical setup.
3. Select each display to adjust resolution and refresh rate.
4. To extend or mirror, use the "Use as" dropdown menu for each display.

Operating Instructions

Display Modes

The FOPO S7 supports various display modes to suit your workflow:

• Extended Mode: Each screen displays independent content, expanding your desktop workspace. (ABC mode)
• Mirror Mode: All screens display the same content as your primary laptop screen. (AAA mode)
• Presentation Mode: One or both external screens mirror your laptop display, while the other extends, useful for sharing content with others. (BAA mode)
• Single Display Mode: Use only one external screen alongside your laptop. (AB mode)
• Portrait Mode: Rotate the external screen(s) to a vertical orientation for reading documents or coding. (AB mode with rotation)

Physical Adjustments

The FOPO S7 is designed for flexibility:

• The left screen can rotate from 0-245° relative to the laptop.
• The right screen can rotate from 0-205° relative to the laptop.
• The left screen features a 360° flip design, allowing it to face away from the user for presentations or collaborative viewing.

On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu

Each screen can be individually customized. The OSD buttons are located on the side of the monitor.

• Brightness +: Increases screen brightness.
• Brightness -: Decreases screen brightness.
• Menu: Accesses the OSD menu for advanced settings (e.g., color, contrast, input source).

Navigate the OSD menu using the brightness buttons and confirm selections with the menu button.

Maintenance and Care

• Keep the monitor clean by wiping with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.

Q: Why doesn't my screen light up?

A: This can be due to insufficient power (requires 10W or 5V/2A above). Ensure you are using the original power supply or a compatible power source. Reconnect the monitor after ensuring adequate power.

Q: The screen shows "No Signal" or no image.

A:

• USB-C: Ensure your laptop's USB-C port is full-featured (supports video transmission). Do not use a USB-C Power Only port for video.
• HDMI: If using the HDMI port, the monitor must be powered first.
• General: Verify that the connection cables are correctly inserted and are high-quality. If unsure about compatibility, contact customer support.

Q: Why does the screen extender display "No Signal"?

A: This usually occurs because your laptop may not have a USB-C or HDMI port that supports video output. If you are unsure about device compatibility or are experiencing problems, please contact customer support.
