2. Safety Information

• Always operate the coffee maker on a stable, flat surface.
• Ensure the power supply matches the voltage requirements (120V). While camping, a power bank with at least 100V output and 500W power is required. Note that brewing may take longer at 100V.
• Do not immerse the coffee maker, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
• Exercise extreme caution when handling hot water and steam. The brewing temperature is optimal for flavor.
• This appliance is ETL certified and BPA-free, ensuring safety standards are met.
• The coffee maker features water shortage alerts and overheat protection for safe operation. If the water reservoir is empty, the button light will flash quickly, and the machine will shut off.
• Unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning.

4. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the K-pod holder and ground filter basket with warm, soapy water. Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth.
3. Placement: Place the coffee maker on a stable, level surface near a power outlet.
4. First Brew (Cleaning Cycle):
   • Open the top lid and fill the water reservoir with clean water up to the MAX (12 oz) line.
   • Close the lid securely.
   • Place an empty mug on the drip tray.
   • Press the power/brew button to start a cleaning cycle. Discard the hot water after brewing.

5. Operating Instructions

Brewing with K-Cups:

1. Fill Water Tank: Open the top lid and fill the water reservoir with fresh water. Use the visible markings (6, 8, 10, 12 oz) to adjust the volume according to your desired coffee strength and mug size. Do not exceed the MAX (12 oz) line.
2. Insert K-Cup: Place a K-cup into the K-pod holder. Ensure it is seated correctly.
3. Close Lid: Close the top lid firmly until it clicks into place.
4. Place Mug: Position your coffee mug on the drip tray. Ensure your mug is not taller than 5.7 inches.
5. Start Brewing: Press the power/brew button. The indicator light will illuminate, and brewing will begin. Coffee will be ready in approximately 3 minutes.
6. Enjoy: Once brewing is complete, the machine will automatically shut off. Carefully remove your mug and enjoy your coffee.

Brewing with Ground Coffee:

1. Fill Water Tank: Follow step 1 from "Brewing with K-Cups".
2. Prepare Ground Filter: Open the reusable ground filter basket. Add up to 20g of your preferred ground coffee. Ensure the filter lid is securely closed to prevent grounds from entering your coffee.
3. Insert Ground Filter: Place the filled ground filter basket into the coffee maker.
4. Close Lid: Close the top lid firmly until it clicks into place.
5. Place Mug: Follow step 4 from "Brewing with K-Cups".
6. Start Brewing: Press the power/brew button. The indicator light will illuminate, and brewing will begin.
7. Enjoy: Once brewing is complete, the machine will automatically shut off. Carefully remove your mug and enjoy your coffee.

6. Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of your Tastyle coffee maker.

• Daily Cleaning:
  • After each use, discard the used K-cup or ground coffee.
  • Rinse the K-pod holder and ground filter basket under running water. Both accessories are dishwasher-safe for convenience.
  • Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp, soft cloth.
• Self-Cleaning Function: The coffee maker includes a self-cleaning function. Refer to the product's quick start guide or online resources for specific instructions on activating this feature.
• Descaling Reminder: The coffee maker has a descaling reminder feature. When the descaling indicator light illuminates, it's time to descale the machine.
• Descaling Process:
