3. Setup and Installation

This trailer jack is designed for bolt-on installation to the trailer tongue. All necessary mounting hardware is included.

Installation Steps:

1. Position the Jack: Place the trailer jack's mounting bracket against the side of the trailer tongue at the desired location. Ensure the jack is oriented correctly for operation and storage.
2. Align Holes: Mark the drilling points on the trailer tongue using the bracket as a template. Drill holes if necessary, ensuring they match the bracket's bolt pattern.
3. Secure the Bracket: Use the provided bolts, washers, and nuts to securely fasten the mounting bracket to the trailer tongue. Tighten all fasteners firmly.
4. Attach Jack to Bracket: The jack assembly slides into the bracket. Secure it by pulling up the bolt on the swivel mechanism and rotating the jack into the operational or stowed position.

4. Operating Instructions

Raising and Lowering the Trailer:

1. Ensure Stability: Before operating, ensure the trailer is on a stable, level surface and any necessary wheel chocks are in place.
2. Engage Jack: If the jack is in the stowed position, pull up the swivel bolt and rotate the jack until it is vertical and locked into the operational position.
3. Crank Handle: Turn the side wind handle clockwise to raise the trailer or counter-clockwise to lower it. The ergonomic grip provides comfortable operation.
4. Monitor Height: Observe the trailer's height and stop cranking once the desired position is reached. The jack offers a lifting range from 10-1/2 inches (retracted) to 20-1/2 inches (extended).

Swiveling the Jack:

To move the jack between its operational (vertical) and stowed (horizontal) positions:

1. Support Trailer: Ensure the trailer is supported by the tow vehicle or another stable means before swiveling the jack. The jack should not be bearing the full weight of the trailer when swiveling.
2. Pull Swivel Bolt: Locate the spring-loaded swivel bolt on the jack's mounting bracket. Pull the bolt outwards to disengage the locking mechanism.
3. Rotate Jack: While holding the bolt out, rotate the jack 90 degrees until it is in the desired position (either vertical for use or horizontal for travel).
4. Engage Lock: Release the swivel bolt, ensuring it fully engages into the locking hole to secure the jack in place.

5. Maintenance
