4.3 Filling the Water Tank
The KZF 4L Humidifier features a convenient top-fill design.
- Ensure the humidifier is unplugged from the power outlet.
- Remove the top cover of the humidifier.
- Pour clean, cool tap water directly into the water tank opening. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
- Replace the top cover securely.
- Note: For best results and to minimize mineral buildup (white dust), use distilled or demineralized water.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
- Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
- Press the Power button (U) on the control panel to turn the humidifier on. The display will illuminate.
- Press the Power button again to turn the humidifier off.
5.2 Mist Level Adjustment
The humidifier offers three mist levels:
- After turning on the humidifier, press the Mist Level button (often indicated by a mist icon or 'Mist') to cycle through the available settings (Low, Medium, High).
- The selected mist level will be indicated on the digital display.
- In sleep mode, the humidifier can provide up to 60 hours of continuous humidification.

5.3 Essential Oil Diffuser Function
To use the essential oil diffuser feature:
- Locate the essential oil tray, typically a small drawer or compartment on the side or back of the base unit.
- Add a few drops of your preferred essential oil onto the aroma pad inside the tray.
- Slide the tray back into its position.
- The humidifier will disperse the aroma along with the cool mist.
- Note: Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank, as this can damage the unit and void the warranty.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and to prevent mineral buildup and bacterial growth.
6.1 Daily Maintenance
- Unplug the humidifier.
- Empty any remaining water from the tank and base.
- Wipe the tank and base dry with a clean cloth.
- Refill with fresh water before each use.
6.2 Weekly Cleaning
- Unplug the humidifier and empty all water.
- Remove the top cover. The large opening facilitates easy access for cleaning.
- To clean the water tank: Fill the tank halfway with water and add 2 tablespoons of white vinegar. Shake gently and let it sit for 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with clean water until the vinegar smell is gone.
- To clean the base unit: Gently wipe the surface of the ultrasonic transducer (the small disc in the center of the base) with a soft brush or cloth dipped in white vinegar. Do not scrub or apply excessive force. Rinse the base with clean water, being careful not to get water into the air outlet.
- Wipe all surfaces dry with a clean cloth before reassembling.
