Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the ZdalaMit Replacement Remote Control, designed for use with specific Quasar LED Smart TV models. This remote control offers a direct replacement solution without requiring any programming.

Setup

1. Battery Installation

The remote control requires two (2) 1.5V AAA Alkaline batteries for operation. Batteries are not included with the remote control.

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Slide the battery compartment cover downwards and remove it.
3. Insert two AAA Alkaline batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.

2. Initial Use

No programming is required for this replacement remote control. Once the batteries are correctly installed, the remote is ready for immediate use with your compatible Quasar LED Smart TV.

Operating Instructions

Point the remote control directly at the infrared sensor on your Quasar LED Smart TV. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV sensor. The maximum effective range is approximately 33 feet (10 meters).

• Power Button (U): Turns the TV on or off.
• TV / Source: Switches between input sources (HDMI, AV, etc.).
• Number Buttons (0-9): Directly select channels.
• VOL +/-: Adjusts the volume level.
• CH +/-: Changes channels up or down.

• Exit: Exits the current menu or application.

• Sleep: Sets a sleep timer for the TV.
• Guide: Opens the electronic program guide.
• FAV (Favorite): Accesses favorite channels list.
• CH LIST: Displays the channel list.
• Picture: Adjusts picture settings.

• CC (Closed Caption): Toggles closed captions on or off.
• MTS (Multi-channel Television Sound): Selects audio modes.
• Playback Controls (Play, Pause, Stop, Rewind, Fast Forward, Skip): Controls media playback.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

If the remote control's performance degrades or it stops responding, replace both AAA Alkaline batteries with new ones. Always replace both batteries at the same time and ensure correct polarity.

Cleaning

To clean the remote control, gently wipe its surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, abrasive materials, or chemical solvents, as these can damage the remote's finish or internal components.

Storage

Store the remote control in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If the remote will not be used for an extended period, it is recommended to remove the batteries to prevent leakage.

Troubleshooting

• Remote control is not working:
  • Ensure batteries are installed correctly with the correct polarity.
  • Replace old batteries with new AAA Alkaline batteries.
  • Check for any obstructions between the remote control and the TV's infrared sensor.
  • Ensure you are within the effective operating range (approximately 33 feet).
  • Verify that the TV's infrared sensor is not blocked or dirty.
• Specific buttons are not responding:
  • This remote control does not require programming. If specific buttons are not functioning, ensure your TV model is listed as compatible.
  • Clean the remote control to ensure no debris is interfering with button presses.
• TV is not responding to any remote commands:
  • Try turning the TV on/off manually using the buttons on the TV itself to confirm the TV is operational.
  • Unplug the TV from the power outlet for a few minutes, then plug it back in. This can sometimes reset the TV's internal systems.
