Setup

Mounting the Sight

The Trophy Ridge Attack sight is designed for bow mount installation on both compound and recurve bows. Ensure your bow has the appropriate mounting holes for a standard bow sight.

1. Align the sight's mounting bracket with the mounting holes on your bow's riser.
2. Insert the provided mounting screws through the bracket and into the riser.
3. Hand-tighten the screws initially, then use an appropriate tool to secure them firmly. Do not overtighten.
4. Verify that the sight is securely attached and does not wobble.

Pin Adjustment

The .019 fiber optic pin can be positioned vertically and horizontally within the sight housing to achieve optimal aiming. Adjustments are typically made during the sighting-in process.

• Vertical Adjustment: Use the vertical adjustment knob or screw to move the pin up or down. Moving the pin up will cause the arrow to hit lower, and moving it down will cause the arrow to hit higher.
• Horizontal Adjustment: Use the horizontal adjustment knob or screw to move the pin left or right. Moving the pin left will cause the arrow to hit right, and moving it right will cause the arrow to hit left.

Operating Instructions

Sighting-In Your Bow

Sighting-in is crucial for accuracy. This process involves shooting at a target and adjusting the sight until your arrows consistently hit the desired point of impact.

1. Begin at a close distance (e.g., 10-20 yards) to ensure your arrows hit the target.
2. Shoot a group of arrows. Observe where the arrows impact relative to your aiming point.
3. Adjust the sight pin:
   • If arrows hit low, move the pin down.
   • If arrows hit high, move the pin up.
   • If arrows hit left, move the pin right.
   • If arrows hit right, move the pin left.
4. Repeat shooting and adjusting until your arrows consistently hit the bullseye at that distance.
5. Once sighted in at a close distance, move to longer distances (e.g., 30, 40, 50 yards) and make fine adjustments as needed.

Adjustable Brightness with Click Light

The Trophy Ridge Attack features an adjustable brightness click light to illuminate the fiber optic pin in low-light conditions. This ensures visibility of your aiming point without over-brightening.

• Locate the click light unit, typically positioned near the fiber optic pin.
• Rotate the dial or press the button (depending on the specific design) to increase or decrease the pin's brightness.
• Adjust to a comfortable brightness level that allows clear visibility of the pin without causing glare or obscuring the target.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the aluminum body. For the fiber optic pin and any lens (if installed), use a lens cleaning cloth and solution to avoid scratching. Do not use harsh chemicals.
• Inspection: Periodically check all screws and fasteners to ensure they are tight. Loose components can affect accuracy.
• Delrin Bushings: The Delrin bushings are designed for smooth, quiet movement and typically require no lubrication. Keep them free of dirt and debris.
• Storage: Store the sight in a clean, dry environment, protected from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
