4. Charging the Jump Starter
Before first use, fully charge the NEBO 1500A Jump Starter. It is recommended to recharge the unit after each use and every 3-6 months to maintain optimal battery health.
- Connect the included USB-C charging cable to the USB-C input port on the jump starter.
- Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to the 12V Car Charger (included) or a compatible USB wall adapter (not included).
- Plug the charger into a power source. The digital display will indicate the charging status and battery percentage.
- Charging is complete when the display shows 100%.
5. Operating Instructions: Jump Starting a Vehicle
Follow these steps carefully to safely jump start your vehicle:
- Ensure the NEBO 1500A Jump Starter is sufficiently charged.
- Turn off your vehicle's ignition and all accessories (headlights, radio, etc.).
- Connect the red (positive, +) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of your vehicle's battery.
- Connect the black (negative, -) clamp to a solid, unpainted metal part of the vehicle's engine block or chassis, away from the battery. Do not connect directly to the negative battery terminal unless specified by your vehicle's manual.
- Plug the jumper cable connector into the jump starter's port. The digital display will show the battery voltage.
- Press the 'Jump Start' button on the unit. The indicator light will blink and then turn green, indicating it's ready to provide power. The unit will supply power for approximately 90 seconds.
- Within 90 seconds, attempt to start your vehicle. If it doesn't start immediately, wait at least 30 seconds before trying again.
- Once the vehicle starts, immediately disconnect the jumper cable connector from the jump starter.
- Then, disconnect the black (negative) clamp, followed by the red (positive) clamp from the vehicle battery.
