3. Setup

3.1 System Requirements

  • Available USB Type-C port
  • Windows 7/8/10/11 or Mac OS

3.2 Connecting the Mouse (Plug and Play)

  1. Locate an available USB Type-C port on your computer, tablet, or other compatible device.
  2. Insert the USB Type-C connector of the PERIMICE-222C mouse into the port.
  3. The mouse is plug-and-play, meaning it does not require any additional drivers. Your operating system will automatically detect and install the necessary software.
  4. Once detected, the mouse is ready for immediate use.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Mouse Functions

The PERIMICE-222C features three responsive buttons and a scroll wheel for effortless navigation:

  • Left Click: Primary button for selecting items, opening files, etc.
  • Right Click: Secondary button for context menus and additional options.
  • Scroll Wheel: Used for vertical scrolling.
  • Middle Click (Scroll Wheel Button): Pressing the scroll wheel acts as a middle click, often used for opening links in new tabs or auto-scrolling.

4.2 Adjusting DPI (Sensitivity)

The PERIMICE-222C allows you to adjust the cursor speed (DPI - Dots Per Inch) to suit your preference. The mouse supports three DPI settings: 1200, 1600, and 2000 DPI.

  • Locate the DPI adjustment button, typically positioned behind the scroll wheel.
  • Press the DPI button to cycle through the available sensitivity settings (1200 DPI → 1600 DPI → 2000 DPI → 1200 DPI).

4.4 Ambidextrous Design

5. Maintenance and Care
