  1. Moisture Content Level Icon: Indicates the general moisture level (Dry, Mid, Wet).

Setup

1. Battery Installation

The Kiprim WM01 Moisture Meter requires one 9V battery (included). To install the battery:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device (refer to Figure 2).
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert the 9V battery, ensuring correct polarity (+ and - terminals).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

The device is now ready for use. If the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the battery promptly.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

Press the On/Off Button (center button) to power the device on. The LCD display will illuminate. To power off, press and hold the On/Off Button for approximately 2 seconds.

2. Mode Selection

The Kiprim WM01 offers four measurement modes for different materials. Press the Mode Selection Button (M) to cycle through the available modes:

3. Taking Measurements (Pinless Operation)

The WM01 uses non-destructive pinless technology. To take a measurement:

  1. Select the appropriate material mode using the Mode Selection Button (M).
  2. Place the back of the meter, specifically the Measurement Sensor Area, flat against the surface of the material you wish to measure. Ensure full contact for accurate readings.
  3. The moisture content percentage will be displayed on the LCD screen. The moisture level bar display and the Dry/Mid/Wet indicators will also provide a visual representation of the moisture level.

4. Data Hold Function

To freeze the current measurement on the display, press the Mute/Hold Button (H) once. The "HOLD" icon will appear on the screen. Press the button again to release the hold and resume live measurements.

5. Audible Alerts and Mute Option

The meter provides audible alerts when high moisture levels are detected. To toggle the audible alert sound on or off, press and hold the Mute/Hold Button (H) for 2 seconds. The speaker icon on the display indicates the current sound status.

6. Measurement Depth

The Kiprim WM01 can detect moisture levels up to 40mm (1.57 inches) deep. For optimal accuracy, the ideal measurement thickness is between 20-40mm (0.78-1.57 inches).
