Setup Guide

Unpacking

Carefully remove the safe from its packaging. Inspect the safe for any signs of damage. Retain all packaging materials until you are satisfied with the product.

Battery Installation

The electronic keypad requires 4 x 1.5V AAA batteries. Locate the battery compartment, typically behind the keypad or inside the door. Insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity. An external battery case is provided for emergency power if internal batteries die.

Anchoring the Safe

For enhanced security, it is highly recommended to anchor the safe to a wall or floor. The safe includes pre-drilled mounting holes and hardware. Choose a secure location, mark the drilling points, and use appropriate tools to secure the safe firmly.

Operating Instructions

Opening the Safe (Default Password)

To open the safe for the first time, use the default password, which is typically '1234'. Enter '1234' on the electronic keypad, then press '#'. The door should unlock, allowing you to open it.

Setting Your Personal Code

  1. With the safe door open, locate the red reset button on the inside of the door, near the hinge.
  2. Press the reset button. You will hear a beep, indicating the safe is ready to accept a new code.
  3. On the electronic keypad, input your desired 3-8 digit code.
  4. Press '#' to confirm your new code. You will hear a confirmation beep.

Opening with New Code

To open the safe with your new personal code, simply enter your 3-8 digit code on the keypad, then press '#'. The safe will unlock.

Using Emergency Keys

In case you forget your password or the batteries are completely drained, you can use the emergency keys provided. Locate the hidden keyhole, insert the emergency key, and turn it to unlock the safe. It is recommended to store these keys in a secure location away from the safe.
