Maintenance

1. Cleaning Electrode Pads

To maintain optimal performance and hygiene of your electrode pads:

  • After each use, gently wipe the adhesive side of the pads with a damp cloth or a small amount of water.
  • Allow the pads to air dry completely before reattaching the protective film.
  • If the pads lose stickiness, cleaning them can help restore their adhesive properties.

2. Storage

Proper storage extends the lifespan of your device and pads:

  • Reattach the protective film to the electrode pads after cleaning.
  • Store the pads in their sealed bags to prevent drying out.
  • Store the TENS host units, remote, and charging cable in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

  • Device not powering on: Ensure the TENS host units and remote are fully charged.
  • No sensation or weak sensation: Check that the electrode pads are firmly attached to your skin. Ensure the host units are securely snapped onto the pads. Increase the intensity level gradually.
  • Remote not responding: Ensure the remote is connected to the receiver pod. If an electrode pad is not attached to the body, the maximum intensity may be limited to level 5 for safety.
  • Pads losing stickiness quickly: Clean the pads as per maintenance instructions. Consider replacing pads if they are old or heavily used (Replacement pads ASIN: B0DRGB12JX).
