Thank you for purchasing the AIRMATE 26-inch Electric Space Heater. This manual provides important information regarding the safe operation, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your new heater. Please read this manual thoroughly before use and keep it for future reference.

Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

Product Overview

The AIRMATE 26-inch Electric Space Heater is a powerful and efficient heating solution for indoor spaces. It features PTC ceramic heating technology for rapid warmth, 70° oscillation for wide heat distribution, and multiple safety mechanisms.

Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for storage or future transport.
  2. Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) of clear space around the heater from walls, furniture, and other objects. Do not place the heater on soft surfaces like beds or thick carpets where air inlets or outlets could be blocked.
  3. Power Connection: Ensure the heater is switched off before plugging it into a standard 220-240V AC electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips with this heater.
  4. Initial Use: Upon first use, a slight odor may be present. This is normal and will dissipate quickly.

Operating Instructions

The heater features intuitive controls for easy operation. Refer to the control panel for mode selection, oscillation, and timer settings.

Control Panel:

The control panel is located on the top of the unit. It typically includes buttons or knobs for Power, Mode, Oscillation, and Timer.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of your heater.

Cleaning the Heater:

  1. Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  3. Ensure no water enters the interior of the heater.

Cleaning the Removable Dust Filter:

The heater is equipped with a removable dust filter (see Figure 6 for location) for easy cleaning.

  1. Locate the filter cover on the back or side of the heater.
  2. Gently remove the filter cover and pull out the filter.
  3. Clean the filter with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris. If heavily soiled, rinse with lukewarm water and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.
  4. Reinsert the dry filter and replace the cover.

Troubleshooting

If your heater is not operating correctly, please refer to the following common issues and solutions:

  • Not plugged in.
  • Power outlet not working.
  • Overheat protection activated.
  • Tip-over protection activated.
  • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
  • Check the circuit breaker or try a different outlet.
  • Unplug the heater, wait 30 minutes for it to cool down, then plug it back in.
  • Ensure the heater is on a flat, stable surface. If it tipped over, place it upright.
Heater produces insufficient heat.
  • Incorrect mode selected.
  • Dust filter is clogged.
  • Room size too large for selected mode.
  • Ensure "Hot Air" (2000W) mode is selected for maximum heat.
  • Clean the removable dust filter as described in the Maintenance section.
  • Consider using the heater in a smaller room or allowing more time for heating.
Heater makes unusual noise.
  • Obstruction in fan.
  • Heater not on a level surface.
  • Unplug the heater and inspect for any foreign objects. Do not attempt to disassemble.
  • Ensure the heater is placed on a stable, flat surface.
