Setup
Follow these steps to set up your UGREEN FineTrack Smart Finder and connect it to your Apple Find My app.
- Step 1: Activate the Device. Pull out the insulation paper from the FineTrack Smart Finder. Hold the device for two seconds to turn it on.
- Step 2: Enable Find My and Bluetooth. On your iPhone, ensure that the "Find My" feature is enabled and Bluetooth is turned on.
- Step 3: Add Item in Find My App. Open the Find My app on your iPhone. Navigate to the "Items" page and select "Add Item," then choose "Other Supported Item."
- Step 4: Connect and Name. The app will detect the "SmartTag." Tap "Connect" and follow the on-screen prompts to name your FineTrack Smart Finder.

Important Note: The UGREEN FineTrack Smart Finder is compatible only with iOS, iPadOS, and macOS systems. Android devices are not supported. While macOS systems can view positioning information, they cannot bind the device.

Global Tracking with Apple Find My

Battery Replacement
The FineTrack Smart Finder uses a replaceable CR2032 button battery, offering up to 2 years of battery life. You can monitor the battery level directly within the Find My app. To replace the battery:
- Step 1: Open the Battery Compartment. Insert the included stuck needle into the small hole on the top of the tag to open the battery cover.
- Step 2: Insert New Battery. Place a new CR2032 battery into the compartment with the positive (+) polarity facing up.
- Step 3: Close the Cover. Align the battery cover into position and press firmly until it clicks closed.
