Model: 3X6M

Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe assembly, operation, maintenance, and storage of your LIFERUN 3x6M Folding Gazebo. Please read all instructions carefully before use to ensure proper functionality and to maximize the product's lifespan. This gazebo is designed for temporary outdoor use, offering shade and shelter for various events.

Safety Warnings

  • Weather Conditions: Always fold and store the gazebo during heavy rain, strong winds, snow, or other adverse weather conditions. Failure to do so may result in damage to the gazebo or personal injury.
  • Anchoring: Ensure the gazebo is always securely anchored to the ground using the provided stakes, ropes, and sandbags. Inadequate anchoring can lead to the gazebo being lifted or moved by wind.
  • Assembly: Assembly should be performed by 1-2 adults. Keep children and pets away from the assembly area.
  • Fire Safety: Keep all flame and heat sources away from the gazebo fabric. The fabric is not fireproof.
  • UV Protection: The canopy provides 99% UV protection (UPF 50+), but prolonged exposure to direct sunlight should still be limited.
  • Drainage: The canopy features drainage holes to prevent water accumulation. Regularly check and clear these holes to ensure proper function.

Setup Instructions

Follow these steps for quick and easy assembly. It is recommended that 1-2 people perform the setup.

Step 1: Unfold the Frame and Attach Canopy

Place the folded frame in the desired location. With a partner, gently pull the outer legs apart to begin expanding the frame. Drape the canopy fabric over the top of the partially expanded frame, ensuring it is centered. Secure the canopy to the frame corners using the Velcro fasteners.

Step 2: Adjust Height

Once the canopy is loosely attached, fully extend the frame. Press the red buttons on each support bar to adjust the height to your desired level (290cm, 300cm, or 310cm). Ensure all four legs are locked at the same height for stability.

Step 3: Install Side Walls and Accessories

Attach the side walls using the Velcro fasteners along the top edge of the canopy and the legs. You can choose to install all 6 side walls, or fewer, depending on your needs. Secure the gazebo to the ground using the provided sandbags, ropes, and ground stakes (7-shaped pins and spiral screw nails). Fill the sandbags with sand for added stability.

Side Panel Configuration

The gazebo includes 6 removable side panels. These panels can be attached or removed as needed to provide protection from wind, rain, or for privacy. Panels with window cloth allow light in, while zippered panels can be used as entrances or for ventilation. You can use any combination of panels, from none to all six, to suit your event or weather conditions.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Clean the canopy and side panels with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the fabric's waterproof and UV-protective coatings. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before storage.
  • Frame Care: The steel frame is powder-coated for rust resistance. If any scratches or chips occur, touch up with rust-inhibiting paint to prevent corrosion.
  • Storage: Always ensure the gazebo is completely dry before folding and storing it in the provided carrying bag. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent mildew and fabric degradation.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect all components, including the frame, fabric, ropes, and stakes, for any signs of wear, damage, or corrosion. Replace damaged parts immediately.

Troubleshooting

  • Gazebo is unstable: Ensure all legs are fully extended and locked at the same height. Verify that all ropes are taut and stakes are firmly driven into the ground. Use sandbags on each leg for additional stability, especially in breezy conditions.
  • Water pooling on canopy: Check that the canopy is properly stretched and secured to the frame. Ensure the frame is fully extended and the height is evenly set. Clear any debris from the canopy's drainage holes.
  • Difficulty folding/unfolding: Ensure no fabric is caught in the frame joints. Apply gentle, even pressure when expanding or collapsing the frame. If the frame is stiff, check for any bent components.
  • Side panels do not fit correctly: Ensure the correct side panels are being used and that they are oriented properly. Check that Velcro fasteners are aligned and securely attached.
