3. Product Overview

4. Installation Guide

Tools Required: Drill, screwdriver, pencil, measuring tape, wire strippers, safety glasses.

1. Prepare for Installation:
   • Before starting, ensure the main power supply to the installation area is switched off at the circuit breaker.
   • Unpack all components and check for any damage.
2. Mounting Plate Installation:

   • Position the mounting plate on the ceiling at the desired location. Use a pencil to mark the drilling points for the mounting holes.
   • Drill holes at the marked positions and insert appropriate wall plugs (if necessary).
   • Secure the mounting plate to the ceiling using the provided screws. Ensure it is firmly attached.
   • Important Alignment Note: Some users have reported that aligning the fixture parallel to walls can be challenging. It is recommended to create a template or carefully measure to ensure the mounting plate is perfectly straight before securing it.
3. Electrical Connection:
   • Connect the household electrical wires to the terminals on the mounting plate. Typically, the brown or red wire connects to 'L' (Live), the blue or black wire to 'N' (Neutral), and the green/yellow wire to the Protective Earth symbol (Schutzleiter).
   • Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated.
   • Attach the safety anchor wire from the light fixture to the designated point on the mounting plate. This prevents the fixture from falling during final assembly.
4. Attach the Light Fixture:
   • Carefully lift the light fixture and align it with the mounting plate.
   • Twist the light fixture onto the mounting plate until it clicks securely into place. This usually involves a slight turn (e.g., 1/8 turn) to lock it.
   • Ensure the fixture is flush with the ceiling and securely fastened.
5. Final Check:
   • Once the light is securely mounted and wired, restore power at the circuit breaker.
   • Test the light to ensure it functions correctly.

5. Operating Instructions

The BRILONER LED Rectangular Ceiling Light is operated via a standard wall switch connected to your household electrical circuit.

• Turning On/Off: Flip the wall switch to turn the light on or off.
