5. Setup

1. Unpack the SUNUV SUN9X Plus UV LED Nail Lamp and its accessories from the packaging.
2. Connect the power adapter to the DC input port located at the back of the lamp.
3. Plug the power adapter into a suitable electrical outlet.
4. The lamp is now ready for operation.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Operation

• Once plugged in, the lamp is in standby mode.
• To activate, simply place your hand or foot into the lamp. The infrared sensor will detect the presence and automatically start the curing process for 99 seconds.
• The LCD screen will display the countdown timer.
• To stop the curing process, remove your hand or foot from the lamp.

6.2 Using Timer Settings

The SUN9X Plus features preset timer buttons for specific curing durations:

• Press the 30s button for a 30-second cure.
• Press the 60s button for a 60-second cure.
• The lamp will automatically turn off after the selected time.
• You can also use the automatic sensor for a default 99-second cure.

6.3 Steps for Gel Nail Application

Follow these steps for optimal results when applying gel nail polish:

1. Natural Nail Preparation: File, buff, and polish the natural nail surface to ensure it is clean and free of oils.
2. Base Coat Application: Apply a thin layer of SUNUV Base Coat. Cure under the SUNUV lamp for 90-120 seconds. Do not wipe the sticky layer.
3. First Layer of Gel Color: Apply a thin, even layer of your chosen gel color. Cure under the SUNUV lamp for 90-120 seconds.
4. Second Layer of Gel Color: Apply a second thin layer of gel color for opaque coverage. Cure under the SUNUV lamp for 90-120 seconds.
5. Top Coat Application: Apply a layer of SUNUV No Wipe Top Coat to seal the gel color and provide a glossy finish. Cure under the SUNUV lamp for 90-120 seconds.

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Disconnect the lamp from the power source before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the lamp. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
