4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

The torque wrench requires two AA batteries for operation. Follow these steps for proper installation:

  1. Step 1: Remove the battery cap by rotating it counter-clockwise.
  2. Step 2: Insert two R6/AA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) polarities match the markings inside the battery compartment.
  3. Step 3: Replace the battery cap and rotate it clockwise until it is tightly secured.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • To power on, press the power button (usually marked 'C' or a power symbol).
  • The wrench will automatically power off after 5 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.

5.2 Unit Selection

5.3 Setting Target Torque

Use the up (▲) and down (▼) arrow buttons to adjust the desired target torque value. The digital display will show the set value.

5.5 Torque Application and Notification

As you apply torque, the digital display will show the current value. The wrench provides visual and audible feedback:

  • When 90% of the target torque is reached, green indicator lights will illuminate, and the buzzer may emit a warning sound.
