3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Installing the Car Seat Base

1. Position the car seat base on the vehicle seat in the rear-facing position.
2. Choose your installation method:
• UAS (Universal Anchor System) Installation: Locate your vehicle's lower anchors. Extend the self-retracting one-click UAS connectors from the car seat base and attach them to the vehicle's lower anchors. Ensure a secure connection.
• Vehicle Seat Belt Installation: Route the vehicle's lap and shoulder belt through the designated belt path on the car seat base. Use the AutoLock belt lock-off to secure the belt tightly.
3. Press down firmly on the car seat base while tightening the UAS connectors or vehicle seat belt.
4. Check the tightness indicators on the adjustable base to confirm accurate and secure installation. The base should not move more than one inch side-to-side or front-to-back at the belt path.
5. Extend the anti-rotation stability leg to the vehicle floor, ensuring it is firmly planted and adjusted to the correct height.

3.2 Attaching the Infant Carrier to the Base

1. Align the infant carrier with the installed base.
2. Lower the carrier onto the base until you hear an audible click, indicating it is securely latched.
3. Always check that the carrier is firmly attached to the base by lifting it slightly.

4. Operating Instructions

2. Bring the harness straps over your child's shoulders and between their legs.

5.1 Cleaning the Seat Cover
