5. Operating Instructions
The Cecotec Conga 4000 offers a 3-in-1 cleaning function: spray, clean, and vacuum.
5.1 Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning
- Preparation: Before cleaning, vacuum the area thoroughly to remove loose dirt and debris. Test a small, inconspicuous area of the carpet or upholstery for colorfastness before full application.
- Power On: Turn on the appliance using the power switch.
- Spray Function: Press the spray trigger on the nozzle handle to dispense cleaning solution onto the surface. Control the water flow by adjusting the pressure on the trigger.
- Scrub and Clean: Gently scrub the stained or dirty area with the brush nozzle. For stubborn stains, allow the solution to penetrate for a few minutes.
- Vacuum/Extract: Release the spray trigger and slowly pull the nozzle over the treated area to vacuum up the dirty water and cleaning solution. Repeat as necessary until the area is clean and as dry as possible.

5.2 Window Cleaning (with specific accessory)
Attach the dedicated window cleaning accessory to the hose. Spray a window cleaning solution onto the glass, then use the accessory to squeegee and vacuum the liquid, leaving a streak-free finish. This accessory is suitable for both home windows and car windows.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your cleaner.
- Empty and Clean Dirty Water Tank: After each use, or when the dirty water tank reaches its maximum fill level, turn off and unplug the appliance. Remove the dirty water tank and empty its contents. Rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water and allow it to air dry before reassembling.
- Rinse Clean Water Tank: If using cleaning solutions, rinse the clean water tank after each use to prevent residue buildup.
- Clean Nozzles and Hose: Detach all nozzles and the hose. Rinse them under running water to remove any debris or residue. Ensure they are dry before storage.
- Wipe Down Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
