4. Setup Instructions
- Unpack: Carefully remove the Portronics Freedom 6 and all accessories from the packaging.
- Connect Power: Insert the provided USB Type-C charging cable into the Type-C Input Port on the back of the Freedom 6. Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible power adapter (minimum 18W recommended for optimal performance).
- Placement: Place the charging station on a stable, flat surface, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
- Initial Power On: Once connected to power, the digital clock display will illuminate.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Charging Devices
The Freedom 6 supports wireless charging for Qi-enabled devices. Ensure your device is compatible before placing it on the charging areas.
- Smartphones: Place your Qi-enabled smartphone on the Mobile Charging Area. The Mobile Charging Indicator LED will light up to confirm charging. For best results, remove thick phone cases.
- Earbuds: Place your Qi-enabled earbud case on the Earbud Charging Area. The Earbud Charging Indicator LED will light up to confirm charging.
- Smartwatches: Place your compatible smartwatch on the Watch Charging Area. Ensure it is properly aligned.
Important: For fast charging, ensure your power adapter is 18W or higher. Lower wattage adapters may result in slow charging or no charging for multiple devices simultaneously.
5.2. Digital Clock and Alarm
- Setting Time:
- Press the Mode Button once to enter time setting mode. The hour digits will flash.
- Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the hour.
- Press the Mode Button again to set the minutes. The minute digits will flash.
- Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the minutes.
- Press the Mode Button a third time to confirm and exit time setting.
- 12H/24H Format: While in time display mode, press and hold the Mode Button to switch between 12-hour (with AM/PM indicator) and 24-hour formats.
- Setting Alarm:
- Press the Mode Button twice to enter alarm setting mode. The alarm hour digits will flash.
- Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the alarm hour.
- Press the Mode Button again to set the alarm minutes. The alarm minute digits will flash.
- Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the alarm minutes.
- Press the Mode Button a third time to confirm and exit alarm setting.
- To activate/deactivate the alarm, press the '-' button while in alarm display mode. An alarm icon will appear/disappear on the display.
5.3. Night Light Function
The Freedom 6 features a built-in night light for ambient illumination.

- Press the Light Button once to turn on the night light.
- Press the Light Button repeatedly to cycle through different brightness levels (e.g., Low, Medium, High).
- Press the Light Button again after the highest brightness to turn off the night light.
5.4. Display Brightness
The digital clock display has adjustable brightness levels.

To adjust the display brightness, press the Light Button while the night light is off. Each press will cycle through the available brightness levels (Dim, Low, Medium, Full) for the digital clock display.
