2. Charging the Smartwatch

Before first use, fully charge your smartwatch. Connect the magnetic charging cable to the charging contacts on the back of the watch and plug the USB end into a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port. The watch display will indicate charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 2 hours.

3. App Installation and Pairing

1. Download the Companion App: Scan the QR code provided in the quick start guide (if applicable) or search for the official mingwear companion app on the Apple App Store (for iPhone) or Google Play Store (for Android devices).
2. Enable Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
3. Open the App: Launch the mingwear app and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account or log in.
4. Pair the Device: Within the app, navigate to the 'Device' or 'Add Device' section. The app will search for available smartwatches. Select 'KR82' or the corresponding device name when it appears. Confirm the pairing request on both your phone and the smartwatch if prompted.
5. Complete Setup: Follow any remaining prompts in the app to set up your profile, permissions, and notification preferences.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Navigation

• Touchscreen: Swipe left/right, up/down to navigate through menus and screens. Tap to select an option.
• Side Buttons: The smartwatch features side buttons for quick access to functions or to return to the home screen. Refer to the on-screen prompts for specific button functionalities.

2. Call Functions

Once paired with your smartphone, the smartwatch supports Bluetooth calling.

• Answering Calls: When an incoming call is received, the watch will display the caller ID. Tap the green phone icon on the screen to answer the call.
• Dialing Calls: Access the 'Dialer' or 'Contacts' function on your watch to initiate a call directly from your wrist.
• Rejecting Calls: Tap the red phone icon to reject an incoming call.

3. Fitness Tracking and Sport Modes

Your smartwatch is equipped with comprehensive fitness tracking capabilities and over 100 sport modes.

• Activity Monitoring: The watch automatically tracks your steps, distance traveled, and calories burned throughout the day. View these metrics directly on the watch face or in the companion app.
• Heart Rate Monitoring: Access the heart rate function to measure your current heart rate. Continuous monitoring can be enabled via the app settings.
• Sport Modes: Swipe to the 'Sport' or 'Workout' menu. Select from over 100 different sport modes, including hiking. Tap to start a workout, and the watch will record relevant data such as duration, distance, and calories.

4. Message Notifications

Receive notifications for calls, SMS, and app messages directly on your smartwatch. Ensure notification permissions are granted in your phone's settings and the mingwear app.

• Viewing Notifications: Swipe down from the top of the watch face to access your notification center.
• Clearing Notifications: Swipe left on a notification or use the 'Clear All' option to dismiss them.

5. Watch Faces

Customize your smartwatch by changing the watch face. Long-press the current watch face on the home screen, then swipe left or right to browse available options. Tap to select a new watch face. Additional watch faces may be available through the companion app.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning Your Smartwatch

Regularly clean your smartwatch to maintain its appearance and functionality.

• Wipe the screen and body with a soft, lint-free cloth.
• For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Ensure the charging contacts are clean and dry before charging.

2. Water Resistance (1ATM)

The smartwatch has a 1ATM water resistance rating, meaning it is resistant to splashes, rain, and brief immersion in shallow water. It is not suitable for swimming, diving, or high-pressure water activities. Do not operate buttons underwater.

3. Battery Care

• Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
• Store the watch in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
• Charge the watch regularly, even if not in daily use, to prevent deep discharge.
