Setup and Installation
For a visual guide, please refer to the official installation video below. Ensure your door meets the minimum distance and thickness requirements before proceeding.
Video: Official Smart Lock Installation Guide by PSOS-LOCK. This video demonstrates the step-by-step process for installing the keyless entry deadbolt, including preparing the door, assembling components, and testing the lock's functionality.
1. Install Deadbolt Latch
Insert the deadbolt latch into the door edge. If the latch is too short for your door, stretch the 60mm latch to 70mm. Ensure the "UP" mark on the latch is facing upwards. Secure the latch to the door using the M4*25mm screws (H).

2. Install Front Panel
Carefully feed the cable from the front panel underneath the deadbolt latch. Align the front panel with the door hole and press it firmly into place.
3. Install Mounting Plate
Position the mounting plate over the deadbolt latch and the front panel cable. Ensure the cable passes through the designated opening in the mounting plate. Secure the mounting plate to the door using the long M4*30mm screws (E). If your door thickness is greater than 45mm, use the provided spare longer screws.

4. Connect Cable and Install Back Panel
Ensure the knob on the back panel is in the vertical position. Connect the cable from the front panel to the corresponding port on the back panel. Carefully align the back panel with the mounting plate and secure it using the M4*8mm screws (F) and the M4*30mm black screw (G).
5. Install Batteries
Open the battery compartment on the back panel. Insert four (4) AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the battery compartment cover.

Unlocking Methods
The PSOS Keyless Entry Deadbolt offers five convenient ways to unlock your door:
- Fingerprint: Place your registered fingerprint on the sensor for quick access. The lock identifies fingerprints with high recognition rate in under 0.2 seconds.
- Keypad: Enter your programmed passcode on the touchscreen keypad.
- Key: Use the physical key as a traditional backup unlocking method.
- IC Card: Tap the provided IC card on the designated area of the lock.
- App Control: Use the dedicated mobile application to unlock the door remotely via Bluetooth.

App Control Features
Download the companion app to manage your lock. Through the app, you can:
- Add and manage up to 200 users, 150 fingerprints, and 150 passwords.
- Set auto-lock duration from 5 to 200 seconds.
- Generate temporary passwords for guests or deliveries, which expire after a set time (e.g., 5 minutes).
- Adjust the lock's volume or set it to mute mode for quiet operation, especially useful for bedroom doors.
- Monitor lock activity and access logs.

Anti-Peeping Password
Enhance security by using the anti-peeping feature. You can enter random digits before or after your actual passcode (up to 16 digits total) to prevent others from guessing your code. The lock will still recognize the correct sequence within the longer string.

Voice Control (Gateway Required)
For remote control and voice assistant integration (e.g., Alexa), a compatible gateway (sold separately) is required. Pair your lock with the gateway to enable these advanced features.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the lock's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.
- Battery Replacement: When the low battery indicator appears, replace all four AA batteries promptly. Using high-quality alkaline batteries is recommended for optimal performance.
- Regular Checks: Periodically check that all screws are tight and the lock operates smoothly.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Lock not responding | Dead batteries; loose cable connection | Replace batteries; check cable connection between panels. |
| Fingerprint not recognized | Fingerprint not registered; dirty sensor; incorrect placement | Register fingerprint via app; clean sensor; ensure full finger contact. |
| Keypad not lighting up | Batteries low or dead | Replace batteries. |
| Lock does not auto-lock | Auto-lock feature disabled or setting too long | Enable auto-lock in the app and adjust the time setting. |
