3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Connectivity Modes
The Keychron K10 Max supports three connection types:
- 2.4 GHz Wireless: For high-performance, low-latency connection, ideal for gaming. Plug the 2.4 GHz receiver into your device. The keyboard boasts a 1000 Hz polling rate in this mode.

3.3 RGB Backlight
The keyboard features charming RGB backlighting with elegant keycap legends, aiding visibility in dim environments. You can cycle through various RGB lighting effects and static color modes directly on the keyboard using designated key combinations (refer to the quick start guide for specific commands).
4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning the Keyboard
To clean your keyboard, disconnect it from all power sources. Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution. For keycaps, you can use the provided keycap puller to remove them and clean them separately with mild soap and water. Ensure keycaps are completely dry before reattaching.
4.2 Hot-Swappable Switches
The K10 Max features hot-swappable sockets, allowing you to change switches without soldering. This enables easy customization or replacement of faulty switches. The PCB supports both 3-pin and 5-pin MX mechanical switches.

4.3 Keycap Replacement
The K10 Max comes with durable double-shot PBT keycaps. If you wish to replace them, use the included keycap puller to gently remove the existing keycaps. Align the new keycaps with the switch stems and press down firmly until they are seated.

5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Connectivity Issues
- No Connection (Wireless): Ensure the keyboard is charged. Verify the 2.4 GHz receiver is properly plugged in or Bluetooth is enabled on both devices and the keyboard is in pairing mode. Try re-pairing.
- No Connection (Wired): Check the USB-C cable connection at both ends. Try a different USB port or cable.
5.2 Keys Not Responding / Delayed Input / Repeating Keys
- Individual Keys: Due to the hot-swappable design, a switch might be improperly seated. Gently remove the keycap and then the switch using the switch puller. Reinsert the switch firmly, ensuring the pins are straight and align with the socket.
- General Input Issues: Ensure the keyboard is fully charged. If using wireless, try switching to wired mode to rule out wireless interference. Update keyboard firmware if available from the manufacturer's website.
- Repeating Keys: This can sometimes be resolved by cleaning the switch or replacing it if it's faulty.
5.3 Backlight Not Working
- Ensure the backlight is turned on using the designated key combination (refer to the quick start guide).
- Check if the brightness is set to minimum.
- If the keyboard is in a low power state, the backlight might be disabled to conserve battery. Charge the keyboard.
