This device provides accurate indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity readings, along with a weather forecast, moon phase display, barometric pressure, and an alarm clock function. Designed for ease of use, it features a large, clear LCD touch screen display and supports up to three wireless outdoor sensors.

4. Setup

4.1 Power Supply

• Main Display Unit: Insert 3 x AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment, or connect the provided USB power cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port. For continuous display backlight, USB power is recommended.
• Wireless Outdoor Sensor: Insert 2 x AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment. Ensure the polarity is correct.

4.2 Sensor Pairing

1. First, power on the main display unit.
2. Within 3 minutes of powering on the main unit, insert batteries into the outdoor sensor.
3. The main unit will automatically search for and connect to the outdoor sensor. The outdoor temperature and humidity will appear on the display.
4. If the connection is not established, press and hold the 'CHANNEL' button on the main unit to initiate a manual search, or re-insert batteries into the outdoor sensor.
5. To add additional sensors (up to 3 total), set each sensor to a different channel (1, 2, or 3) using the switch inside its battery compartment before powering it on. The main unit will cycle through the channels or allow manual selection.

4.3 Placement

• Main Display Unit: Place on a flat surface using the integrated stand or mount on a wall using the hanging hole on the back. Choose a location away from direct sunlight or heat sources for accurate indoor readings.
• Wireless Outdoor Sensor: Place the sensor in a shaded, dry location outdoors, protected from direct rain and sunlight, to ensure accurate readings and prolong battery life. While the sensor is designed for outdoor use, direct exposure to harsh weather conditions can affect its performance and longevity.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Display Overview

5.2 Setting Time and Date

Locate the 'MODE' button (often on the back or a touch area on the front). Press 'MODE' repeatedly to cycle through time, date, and alarm settings. Use the 'UP' and 'DOWN' buttons (or touch areas) to adjust values. Press 'MODE' again to confirm and move to the next setting.

5.3 Temperature Unit Conversion (°C/°F)

To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), locate the dedicated °C/°F button or a touch area on the display. Press it once to toggle the temperature unit. If no dedicated button is found, this function might be integrated into the 'MODE' setting cycle or a long press of a specific button.

5.4 Alarm Clock and Snooze

Press 'MODE' until the alarm time is displayed. Use 'UP' and 'DOWN' to set the desired alarm time. Press 'MODE' to confirm. To activate/deactivate the alarm, press the 'ALARM ON/OFF' button. When the alarm sounds, press the 'SNOOZE' button (often a large button on top) to temporarily silence it for a few minutes. Press any other button to stop the alarm for the day.

5.5 Weather Forecast

The weather station predicts weather conditions for the next 12-24 hours based on changes in barometric pressure. The icons displayed (Sunny, Partly Cloudy, Cloudy, Rainy, Stormy) are an indication of future weather trends, not current conditions. Allow the unit to operate for at least 24 hours to calibrate the barometric pressure for more accurate forecasts.

5.6 Max/Min Records

Press the 'MAX/MIN' button (or a similar labeled button) to view the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity recorded since the last reset. Press the button repeatedly to cycle through indoor max, indoor min, outdoor max, and outdoor min. To clear the records, press and hold the 'MAX/MIN' button while viewing the records.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the display unit and sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in both the main unit and the outdoor sensor when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Ensure correct polarity.
• Sensor Care: Periodically check the outdoor sensor for debris or moisture accumulation. Ensure it remains in a protected location to prevent damage from extreme weather.

7. Troubleshooting

• No Display on Main Unit: Check battery installation or USB power connection. Ensure batteries are fresh.
• Outdoor Readings Not Displaying: Ensure the outdoor sensor batteries are fresh and correctly installed. Verify the sensor is within range (60m/200ft) and not blocked by major obstructions. Re-pair the sensor by re-inserting its batteries and pressing the 'CHANNEL' button on the main unit.
• Incorrect Temperature/Humidity Readings: Ensure both units are placed away from direct heat sources, vents, or direct sunlight. Allow time for readings to stabilize after setup. For the outdoor sensor, ensure it is in a shaded, protected area.
• Cannot Change Temperature Unit (Fahrenheit/Celsius): Look for a dedicated °C/°F button on the front or back of the unit. If not present, try a long press on one of the setting buttons (e.g., 'MODE' or 'UP') or consult the specific instructions for your model's button layout.
• Weather Forecast Inaccurate: The forecast is based on barometric pressure changes and is a prediction, not a real-time observation. Allow the unit 24 hours to calibrate after initial setup.
