2. Getting Started: Setup
2.1 Package Contents
Before you begin, ensure all items are present in the package:
- Ulefone Armor X12 Pro Smartphone
- Charger
2.2 Inserting SIM and TF Cards
The Armor X12 Pro supports 4G Dual SIM and a TF card simultaneously. Locate the SIM card tray on the side of the device. Use the provided SIM ejector tool (if included, otherwise a small pin) to open the tray. Carefully place up to two Nano SIM cards and one TF (microSD) card into their respective slots. Ensure the cards are correctly oriented as indicated on the tray. Gently push the tray back into the phone until it clicks into place.

2.3 Initial Power On and Setup Wizard
Press and hold the Power button until the Ulefone logo appears. The phone will boot into the Android 13 operating system. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup, which includes selecting your language, connecting to Wi-Fi, setting up your Google account, and configuring security features like Face ID.

3. Operating Your Device
3.1 Basic Phone Functions
- Making Calls: Open the Phone app, dial the number, and tap the call icon.
- Sending Messages: Open the Messages app, tap to start a new conversation, enter the recipient and your message.
- Internet Connectivity: Connect to Wi-Fi via Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi, or enable mobile data via Settings > Network & internet > Mobile network.
3.2 Camera Usage
The Armor X12 Pro is equipped with a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. Open the Camera app to access various modes:
- Standard Photo/Video: Select "Photo" or "Video" mode and tap the shutter button.
- Underwater Mode: This mode allows you to take photos and videos while submerged. Ensure the phone's ports are securely sealed before using this feature.
- Night Mode: Enhances photos taken in low-light conditions.
- Portrait Mode: Creates a depth-of-field effect for subjects.

3.3 Special Features
- NFC & Google Pay: Enable NFC in settings to use Google Pay for contactless payments.
- Face Unlock: Set up Face ID in Security settings for convenient unlocking.
- Custom Key: The programmable side key can be assigned to quickly launch an app or function (e.g., PTT, flashlight, SOS). Configure this in Settings > Smart Assistant > Custom Key.
- Digital Toolkit: Access various utility tools like Compass, Flashlight, Height Meter, and Barometer from the Digital Toolkit app.
- Glove Mode: Enhance touch sensitivity for use with gloves. Activate this in Display settings.
- OTG Function: Use the included OTG cable (if applicable) to connect external USB devices or charge other devices from your phone's battery.

4. Maintenance and Durability

- Waterproof (IP68/IP69K): The device can be submerged in 1.5 meters of water for up to 30 minutes. Ensure all port covers are tightly sealed before exposure to water. Rinse with fresh water after exposure to saltwater or chemicals.
- Shockproof: Designed to withstand drops from 1.5 meters onto hard surfaces. While rugged, avoid intentional drops or extreme impacts.
- Dustproof: Fully protected against dust, dirt, and sand ingress.
- Battery Care: The 4860mAh battery provides extended usage. For optimal battery life, avoid extreme temperatures and fully discharging the battery frequently.
