1. Introduction

The GooDee 4K UHD Smart Projector offers a comprehensive home entertainment solution with its genuine Google TV official license and voice control capabilities. This portable projector eliminates the need for additional TV sticks, providing instant access to popular streaming applications such as Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video. 2. What's in the Box

Upon unboxing your GooDee GD500 Plus projector, please ensure all the following items are present:

3. Setup

3.1 Initial Power-On and Remote Pairing

  1. Connect the projector to a power source using the provided power cord.
  2. Press the power button on the projector or the remote control to turn it on.
  3. Upon first use, the projector will prompt you to pair the remote control. Hold the indicated buttons on the remote for three seconds as instructed on the projected screen. Move the remote closer to the projector if pairing is unsuccessful.

3.2 Google TV Setup

  1. After remote pairing, you will be presented with options to set up Google TV or proceed with basic TV setup.
  2. For full smart features, select "Set up Google TV" and follow the on-screen prompts to sign in with your Google Account. This will grant access to the Google Play Store and pre-installed streaming apps.
  3. Alternatively, select "Set up basic TV" if you prefer to use external input sources primarily.

3.3 Image Adjustment (Auto Focus & Keystone Correction)

4. Operating Instructions

  • HDMI: Connect devices like laptops, gaming consoles (Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch), Roku, Fire TV, or Apple TV.
  • USB: Play media files directly from USB drives.
  • AV: Connect older devices using an AV cable.
  • Bluetooth 5.2: Connect external audio devices such as headphones or speakers for an enhanced sound experience.
  • WiFi 6: Utilize the high-speed WiFi 6 for seamless streaming and screen mirroring from compatible iOS, Android, and Windows devices.

4.3 Screen Size Adjustment (Zoom)

The projector offers a 50%-100% zoom capability, allowing you to adjust the screen size without moving the projector or sacrificing image quality. This feature is accessible through the projector's settings menu or dedicated buttons on the remote control.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Lens Care

  • If using Bluetooth speakers, ensure they are properly paired and connected.

6.3 Connectivity Issues (WiFi/Bluetooth)

  • For WiFi, ensure the projector is within range of your wireless router and the correct password is entered.
  • For Bluetooth, ensure the device you are trying to connect is in pairing mode and within range.
  • Restart the projector and the connecting device to refresh the connection.
