This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your VEVOR Double Doors 4.5 cu.ft Safe Box. Setup

1. Battery Installation

The electronic lock requires 4 AA batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment located on the inside of each door. Insert the batteries according to the polarity markings. Close the compartment cover securely.

2. Setting the Passcode

Each door has an independent electronic lock. To set a new passcode (3-12 digits):

1. With the door open, locate the green reset button on the inside of the door, near the battery compartment.
2. Press the reset button. The keypad will beep and the "Settings" icon (gear symbol) will light up.
3. Enter your desired 3-12 digit passcode on the keypad.
4. Press the '#' button to confirm. The safe will beep to confirm the new passcode is set.
5. Test the new passcode with the door open before closing it.

The default passcode is typically "123456".

3. Mounting the Safe

The safe includes 4 pre-drilled holes on the back and bottom for secure mounting. Use the provided iron expansion bolts to fix the safe to a wall, floor, or shelf. This prevents unauthorized removal of the safe.

Operating Instructions

1. Unlocking with Passcode

1. Enter your 3-12 digit passcode on the keypad.
2. Press the '#' button. The keypad will indicate successful entry.
3. Within 5 seconds, turn the knob clockwise to open the door.

2. Unlocking with Emergency Key

In case of forgotten passcode or battery failure, use the emergency key:

1. Locate the keyhole cover on the keypad panel. Slide it open.
2. Insert the emergency key into the keyhole and turn it counter-clockwise.
3. While holding the key turned, rotate the knob clockwise to open the door.

3. Using External Battery Box

If the internal batteries are depleted and you don't have the emergency key readily available, you can use the external battery box:

1. Insert 4 AA batteries into the external battery box.
2. Plug the external battery box's connector into the port located on the keypad panel (usually beneath the knob).
3. The keypad will power on. Enter your passcode and press '#'.
4. Turn the knob clockwise to open the door.
5. Once the door is open, replace the internal batteries immediately.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting

Safe Does Not Open with Passcode

• Correct Passcode: Verify you are entering the correct passcode. Remember that three incorrect entries will trigger the alarm.
• Timing: Ensure the knob is turned within 5 seconds after entering the correct passcode.

Alarm Sounds Unexpectedly

• Incorrect Entries: The alarm will sound after three consecutive incorrect passcode entries. Wait for the alarm to clear before attempting again.
• Impact Detection: The safe's sensor may have detected a strong impact. Ensure the safe is stable and not subject to accidental bumps.

Keypad is Unresponsive

• Battery Check: The batteries are likely dead. Use the external battery box to power the keypad temporarily and replace the internal batteries.
• Emergency Key: Use the emergency key to open the safe if the keypad remains unresponsive even with external power.
