1. Important Safety Instructions

2. Product Overview
The Cecotec Cecofry & Grill Duoheat 8000 is an 8-liter air fryer designed for healthy cooking with minimal oil. It features dual heating elements for even cooking and includes a grill plate and a pizza plate for versatile meal preparation.

3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove all packaging materials from the appliance.
- Check that all components are present and undamaged.
- Remove any stickers or labels from the appliance.
3.2 Initial Cleaning
- Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth.
- Wash the cooking basket, grill plate, and pizza plate with hot, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or scouring pads, as these can damage the non-stick coating.
3.3 Placement
- Place the air fryer on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface.
- Ensure there is at least 10 cm (4 inches) of clear space around the back and sides of the appliance to allow for proper ventilation.
- Do not place the appliance near flammable materials or heat sources.
3.4 Power Connection
Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The appliance is now ready for use.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On/Off
- To turn on the appliance, press the power icon on the digital control panel.
- To turn off, press and hold the power icon until the display turns off.
4.2 Basic Operation (Manual Mode)
- Place your food in the cooking basket or on the appropriate accessory (grill plate, pizza plate).
- Slide the basket firmly into the main unit.
- Press the power icon to turn on the appliance.
- Use the temperature control buttons (usually ▲/▼ or +/–) to set the desired temperature between 80℃ and 200℃.
- Use the time control buttons to set the desired cooking time.
- Press the start/pause icon to begin cooking.
4.3 Using Preset Menus
The Cecofry & Grill Duoheat 8000 features 8 preset menus for common dishes. These presets automatically adjust the temperature and time for optimal results.
- After turning on the appliance, select one of the 8 preset icons on the digital control panel.
- The appliance will automatically set the recommended temperature and time.
- You can manually adjust the temperature and time even after selecting a preset, if desired.
- Press the start/pause icon to begin cooking.
4.4 Dual Resistance Technology
This air fryer is equipped with dual heating elements (top and bottom) to ensure even cooking and browning without the need to constantly flip food. This feature is particularly beneficial for grilling and achieving crispy results.
4.5 Grill Function
Utilize the included grill plate to achieve barbecue-style marks and flavors on meats and vegetables. Place the grill plate in the basket before adding food.

4.6 Viewing Window
The integrated viewing window allows you to monitor the cooking progress without opening the basket, helping to maintain consistent temperature and cooking efficiency.

5. Cooking Tips
- Preheating: For best results, preheat the air fryer for 3-5 minutes at the desired cooking temperature before adding food.
- Oil Usage: While designed for oil-free cooking, a small amount of oil (1 tablespoon or less) can enhance crispiness and flavor for certain foods.
- Shaking/Flipping: For smaller items like fries or nuggets, shake the basket halfway through cooking. For larger items, flip them to ensure even browning, though the dual resistance reduces this need.
- Overfilling: Do not overfill the basket. Cook food in batches if necessary to ensure proper air circulation and even cooking.
- Accessories: Use the grill plate for searing and the pizza plate for baking pizzas or other flat items to achieve optimal crusts.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air fryer.
- Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Basket and Accessories: The cooking basket, grill plate, and pizza plate are non-stick. Wash them with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Avoid using metal utensils or abrasive cleaners.
- Interior: Wipe the interior of the appliance with a damp cloth. For stubborn food residue, use a mild detergent. Do not use abrasive materials.
- Exterior: Clean the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Heating Elements: Gently clean the heating elements with a soft brush to remove any food particles. Do not use water or liquid directly on the heating elements.
