4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation of your Volam Carplay Screen:

4.1 Main Unit Installation (Dashboard Mount)

1. Prepare the Mounting Surface: Clean the dashboard surface where you intend to mount the screen. Ensure it is free of dust and grease.
2. Attach the Bracket Sticker: Remove the protection film from the bracket sticker. Fix the sticker onto the dashboard in the desired location. Allow it to set for at least 10 hours for optimal adhesion.
3. Attach the Suction Cup Bracket: Peel the film from the patch on the suction cup bracket. Press the suction cup firmly onto the bracket sticker and press the bar to lock it.
4. Install the Device: Mount the 9.26-inch Carplay screen onto the suction cup bracket. Adjust the angle for optimal viewing and lock the screw to secure it.
5. Connect Power: Plug the TYPE-C power plug into the screen and connect the other end to your car's 12V power outlet.

4.2 Rear Camera Installation

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Wireless Apple CarPlay / Android Auto Connection

The device supports wireless connection to both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing you to access your phone's features safely while driving.

1. Enable Wireless Features: On the Carplay screen, navigate to the Apple CarPlay or Android Auto icon and tap to open.
