5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
To clean the clock, use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the fabric or display.
5.2 Battery Replacement
If you are using the battery backup feature, replace the 3 AAA batteries when the display starts to flicker or when the clock fails to retain settings during a power interruption. Ensure correct polarity when inserting new batteries.
6. Troubleshooting
- Clock display is too bright/dim: Use the "+" button to adjust the brightness levels. Consider activating Night Mode for automatic dimming during specific hours.
- Clock not displaying on battery power: The clock requires continuous USB power for its main display. Batteries are for backup only to preserve settings during power outages, not for continuous display operation.
- Time/Date is incorrect: Follow the instructions in sections 4.1 and 4.2 to manually set the correct time and date.
- Alarm not sounding: Ensure the alarm is set correctly and enabled (check alarm icon on display). Verify the alarm volume setting.
