2. Safety Information

• Wall Mounting: This bookcase is designed to be wall-mounted for stability and safety. Wall/ceiling fixtures (e.g., specific screws or wall plugs) are not included and must be purchased separately based on your wall type. Always use appropriate hardware for your wall material (e.g., drywall, concrete, wood studs).
• Anti-Tip Device: Always secure the bookcase to the wall using an anti-tip device to prevent serious injury from tipping furniture.
• Weight Distribution: Distribute weight evenly across all shelves. Do not overload shelves. Place heavier items on lower shelves.
• Assembly: Assembly requires at least one person. Follow all assembly steps precisely. Do not use power tools for tightening screws unless explicitly instructed, as this may damage the engineered wood.
• Children: Keep children away from the assembly area. Small parts can be a choking hazard. Do not allow children to climb on the bookcase.

4. Assembly Instructions

4.1. Prepare the Area and Identify Parts

4.2. Assemble the Frame

3. Attach the side panels to the base and top panels using the provided dowels and cam locks. Ensure all connections are secure.
4. Insert the back panel into the grooves of the side panels and secure it with small nails or screws as indicated in your specific assembly guide.

4.3. Install Shelves

5. Insert shelf pins into the pre-drilled holes at your desired shelf heights.
6. Carefully place the shelves onto the pins, ensuring they are level and fully seated.

4.4. Wall Mounting

7. Position the assembled bookcase in its desired location.
8. Mark the wall through the pre-drilled holes on the back of the bookcase for the anti-tip device.
9. Drill pilot holes into the wall using an appropriate drill bit for your wall material.
10. Install wall anchors (if necessary) and secure the anti-tip bracket to the wall.
11. Attach the anti-tip strap from the bookcase to the wall bracket. Ensure the bookcase is stable and securely fastened to prevent tipping.

5. Operating Instructions (Usage)

• Placement: Position the bookcase on a level surface against a wall where it can be securely mounted. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or near heat sources to prevent material degradation.
• Loading: Place books and other items on the shelves. For optimal stability, distribute weight evenly and place heavier items on lower shelves. Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity per shelf (refer to specifications).
• Versatility: This bookcase is suitable for displaying books, decorative items, photos, or office supplies in living rooms, bedrooms, or home offices.
