1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your MangoKit MS4 HiFi System. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device and retain it for future reference.
2. Safety Information
- Power Source: Ensure the power supply voltage matches the requirements specified on the unit.
- Ventilation: Do not block any ventilation openings. Allow adequate space around the unit for proper airflow.
- Water and Moisture: Do not expose the unit to rain, moisture, or dripping/splashing liquids. Do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on the unit.
- Heat: Keep the unit away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
- Cleaning: Unplug the unit from the wall outlet before cleaning. Use a dry cloth for cleaning.
- Servicing: Do not attempt to service this product yourself. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.

4. Product Overview
The MangoKit MS4 is a versatile HiFi system featuring a CD player, DAB+/FM radio, Bluetooth connectivity, and USB playback, all housed in an acoustically designed wooden cabinet. It offers powerful 100W stereo sound and a 2.4-inch color display for easy navigation.

5. Setup
5.1 Power Connection
- Connect the supplied power adapter cable to the DC IN port on the rear of the MS4 unit.
- Plug the power adapter into a standard wall outlet.
5.2 Antenna Setup
- Extend the telescopic antenna located on the rear of the unit for optimal DAB+ and FM radio reception.
- Adjust the antenna position to improve signal strength if reception is poor.
5.3 Initial Power-On
- Press the Power button on the unit or remote control to turn on the system.
- The display will illuminate, and the system will typically start in the last used mode or default to DAB+ radio.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 General Controls
- Power Button: Turns the unit on or off.
- Volume Knob: Rotate to adjust the volume level.
- Mode Button: Cycles through available modes (DAB+, FM, CD, Bluetooth, USB, AUX).
- Navigation Buttons: Use for menu navigation, station tuning, or track selection.
- Info/Menu/Back Button: Accesses information, enters menus, or goes back to the previous screen.
6.2 CD Player Operation

- Press the Mode button to select CD mode.
- Gently insert a CD into the CD slot on the front panel. The unit will automatically load the disc.
- Playback will begin automatically. Use the Play/Pause, Skip Forward, and Skip Backward buttons to control playback.
6.3 DAB+ Radio Operation
- Press the Mode button to select DAB+ radio mode.
- The system will perform an automatic scan for available DAB+ stations upon first use or if no stations are found.
- Use the Navigation buttons to browse through the list of available stations.
- Press the Select button to tune into a station.
- To save a preset: Tune to the desired station, then press and hold one of the preset number buttons (1-40) until the display confirms the save.
6.4 FM Radio Operation
- Press the Mode button to select FM radio mode.
- Use the Navigation buttons to manually tune to a frequency or press and hold them to auto-scan for the next available station.
- To save a preset: Tune to the desired station, then press and hold one of the preset number buttons (1-40) until the display confirms the save.
6.5 Bluetooth Connection
- Press the Mode button to select Bluetooth mode. The display will show "Pairing" or similar.
- On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "MangoKit MS4" from the list of devices.
- Once connected, you can stream audio from your device to the MS4 system.
6.6 USB Playback
- Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 or other compatible audio files into the USB port on the rear of the unit.
- Press the Mode button to select USB mode.
- The system will automatically detect and begin playing audio files. Use navigation buttons to select tracks.
6.7 AUX Input
- Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player) to the AUX IN port on the rear of the unit using a 3.5mm audio cable (not supplied).
- Press the Mode button to select AUX mode.
- Audio from the connected device will now play through the MS4 system. Control playback from the external device.
6.8 Alarm and Sleep Timer Functions

- Setting Alarms: Access the alarm settings via the Menu button. You can set dual alarms with weekday/weekend modes and choose your preferred alarm sound (FM radio, DAB+ radio, or buzzer).
- Sleep Timer: Press the Sleep button repeatedly to cycle through various sleep timer durations. The unit will automatically turn off after the selected time.
6.9 Equalizer Settings
The MS4 features a customizable equalizer to adjust audio output. Access the equalizer settings through the Menu to fine-tune bass, treble, and other audio characteristics for music or speech.
6.10 Bluetooth-Out for Headphones
The system supports Bluetooth output for wireless headphones. Access this feature through the Menu to pair your Bluetooth headphones for private listening.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
- CD Care: Handle CDs by their edges. Keep them clean and free of scratches.
- Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, unplug it from the power outlet and store it in a cool, dry place.
8. Troubleshooting
