3. Installation
3.1 Choosing a Mounting Location
Select a location on your windshield that does not obstruct your view of the road. The front camera should be centrally located, ideally behind the rearview mirror. The rear camera can be installed on the rear windshield.
3.2 Front Camera Installation
- Clean the chosen area on the windshield thoroughly.
- Apply the electrostatic film to the cleaned area. This helps prevent residue on your windshield.
- Attach either the suction mount or the adhesive mount to the dash cam.
- Secure the mount with the dash cam to the electrostatic film on the windshield. Ensure it is firmly attached.
- Connect the car charger to the dash cam's power input and route the cable along the windshield edge and down to your car's cigarette lighter socket. Use the provided crowbar and cable clips for a neat installation.
3.3 Rear Camera Installation
- Mount the rear camera on the inside of your rear windshield, ensuring a clear view.
- Connect the 19.5ft camera cable to the rear camera and route it to the front dash cam.
- Plug the rear camera cable into the designated port on the front dash cam.

4. Initial Setup and Operation
4.1 Powering On and Off
Once connected to the car's power supply, the dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when the vehicle starts. It will power off automatically when the vehicle is turned off.
4.2 Basic Recording
The dash cam records continuously in a loop. The front camera records in 4K UHD, and the rear camera records in 2K/1440P. Videos are saved to the pre-installed 64GB SD card.

Figure 5: Dual Recording Coverage
4.3 Loop Recording
The dash cam records video in segments (1, 3, or 5 minutes). When the SD card is full, the oldest unlocked video files are automatically overwritten by new recordings. This ensures continuous recording without manual intervention.

4.4 G-Sensor / Emergency Lock
The built-in G-sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions. When an event is detected, the current video segment is automatically locked to prevent it from being overwritten by loop recording. These locked files serve as critical evidence.

4.5 Mute Function
The dash cam includes a mute function to disable audio recording when desired. Refer to the Quick Guide or the app settings for instructions on how to activate/deactivate this feature.
5. Parking Mode
The 24-hour parking surveillance mode protects your vehicle when parked. This feature requires a hardwire kit (sold separately) for continuous power supply.
5.1 Time Lapse Recording
When the ignition is off, the dash cam can record footage at a low frame rate (1fps/3fps) to conserve memory and power. This provides a condensed overview of events during parking.

5.2 Collision Detection Mode
If an impact is detected while parked, the dash cam will wake up and record for 30 seconds, locking the footage as evidence. This ensures incidents like hit-and-runs are captured.

7. Advanced Features
7.1 STARVIS Night Vision
Equipped with a STARVIS image sensor and F1.6 aperture, the dash cam automatically balances exposure in low-light conditions. This technology captures significantly more detail at night, ensuring clear footage even on dark roads.

7.2 True HDR (High Dynamic Range)
Advanced 4K HDR technology automatically balances bright and dark areas in the footage. This prevents overexposure in bright conditions and ensures details are visible in shadows, capturing more comprehensive scene information.

7.3 Wide-Angle Lenses
The front camera features a 170-degree wide-angle lens, and the rear camera has a 160-degree wide-angle lens. These wide angles minimize blind spots, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the road and surrounding areas.

8. Maintenance
8.1 SD Card Management
For optimal performance, it is recommended to format the SD card regularly (e.g., once a month) using the dash cam's settings or the mobile app. This helps maintain card health and prevents potential recording issues. Always back up important files before formatting.
8.2 Cleaning the Lenses
Gently clean the camera lenses with a soft, lint-free cloth to ensure clear video quality. Avoid using abrasive cleaners.
9. Troubleshooting
- Dash Cam not powering on: Ensure the car charger is properly connected to both the dash cam and the car's power outlet. Check if the car's power outlet is functioning.
- Recording issues:
- Ensure the SD card is correctly inserted.
- Format the SD card.
- Check if the SD card is full (though loop recording should prevent this for unlocked files).
- Use a high-quality Class 10 or U3 SD card.
- Wi-Fi connection problems:
- Ensure the dash cam's Wi-Fi is enabled.
- Restart both the dash cam and your smartphone.
- Ensure you are within close proximity to the dash cam.
- Poor video quality:
- Clean the camera lenses.
- Ensure the protective film has been removed from the lenses.
- Check video resolution settings in the app.
- Parking Mode not working: Ensure a hardwire kit is installed and correctly connected to provide continuous power.
