Setup
1. SIM and microSD Card Installation
Locate the SIM tray on the side of your HMD Fusion. Use the provided SIM tray ejector tool to open the tray. Insert your Nano-SIM card(s) and/or a microSD card (for expandable memory) into the designated slots. Ensure the cards are correctly oriented as indicated on the tray. Gently push the tray back into the phone until it clicks into place.
2. Initial Power On and Configuration
Press and hold the Power button (located on the side) until the HMD logo appears. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the initial setup, including selecting your language, connecting to Wi-Fi, setting up your Google account, and configuring security features like fingerprint unlock or facial recognition. The device runs on Android 14, offering a user-friendly interface.
Operating Instructions
Display and Navigation
The HMD Fusion features a 6.56-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and responsiveness. Navigate the device using standard Android gestures or on-screen navigation buttons, configurable in the settings menu.
Camera Usage
The device is equipped with a versatile camera system:
- Rear Camera: A 108MP dual camera system for high-resolution photos.
- Selfie Camera: A 50MP front camera that supports Selfie Gestures and Selfie slo-mo for creative self-portraits and videos.
Open the Camera app from your home screen or app drawer. Select your desired mode (Photo, Video, Portrait, etc.) and tap the shutter button to capture. Utilize selfie gestures by making a specific hand sign in front of the camera to trigger the shutter without touching the screen.

Smart Outfits
The HMD Fusion supports modular "Smart Outfits" that can be attached to the device to add new functionalities. These outfits can provide features such as wireless charging support, a ring light, or rugged protection. To attach an outfit, align it with the smart pins on the back of the phone and ensure it securely connects.
