Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your pecron Double Voltage Hub and E3600LFP Power Station.

  • Keep the unit clean and free from dust and debris.
  • Ensure proper ventilation by not obstructing the cooling fans.
  • Store the unit in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • Check cables and connections regularly for any signs of wear or damage.
  • Periodically check for firmware updates via the pecron app to ensure optimal performance and address any known issues.

Troubleshooting

  • Overcurrent Protection: If the unit experiences an overcurrent, it may trigger the overcurrent protection. Press the reset button located on the left side of the unit to restore operation.
  • RV AC Converter Loop: When using the power station to power an RV, ensure your RV's internal AC converter is turned off. Running both simultaneously can create a loop, draining the power station unnecessarily. Allow your solar system to charge the batteries instead.
  • 12V Socket Overload: If the 12V socket experiences an overload (e.g., pulling over 200W for extended periods), it may not shut off as expected, potentially causing damage. This is a known issue that requires a firmware update to address. Contact pecron support for the latest firmware.
  • Inverter Noise: Some users may experience minimal noise from the inverter. While generally not an issue for most applications, users with sensitive equipment like ham radios may find it noticeable.
