3. Setup

4.1 Control Panel

4.4 Wi-Fi and App Control

The Rohnson R-9530 can be controlled remotely via the Rohnson Link App. Up to three family members can access the device simultaneously.

1. Download the Rohnson Link App from your smartphone's app store.
2. Ensure your home Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz (5GHz networks are not supported for initial pairing).
3. Follow the in-app instructions to pair your dehumidifier. This typically involves pressing and holding the Power and Mode buttons simultaneously for about 7 seconds until you hear an audible signal and the Wi-Fi LED blinks rapidly.
4. Once connected, you can control the unit, set timers, and monitor humidity levels from anywhere.

4.5 Timer Function

The 1-24 hour timer allows you to set a specific duration for the unit to operate before automatically turning off.

1. Press the Timer button.
2. Use the Humidity Setting buttons to adjust the desired operating hours.
3. The timer will start counting down, and the unit will turn off once the set time expires.

4.6 Child Lock

Activate the child lock to prevent accidental changes to settings by pressing and holding the Child Lock button for a few seconds. Repeat to deactivate.
