5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Battery

1. Locate the USB Type-C port on the device.
2. Connect the provided USB Type-C charging cable to the device and to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or computer USB port.
3. The charging indicator will show the charging status. Allow sufficient time for a full charge before first use.

5.2 Initial Power-On

1. Press and hold the Power button (usually marked with a ⏻ symbol) located on the top of the device until the HIKMICRO logo appears on the display.
2. Adjust the diopter knob near the eyepiece to achieve a clear view of the display for your vision.

5.3 Connecting to the HIKMICRO Sight App (Optional)

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the Power button until the device starts.

• Standby Mode: A short press of the Power button may put the device into standby mode to conserve battery. Press again to wake up.

6.2 Basic Observation

Hold the monocular to your eye and adjust the diopter for a clear image. Point the objective lens towards the area of interest.

6.3 Image and Video Capture

• Capture Image: Press the Capture button (often marked with a camera icon) once to take a still image.
